Actually the guy and investors ,both are right. He wants 300 crore in phases and in return he will give 25%. Offcourse he is not there to give 0.5% in return of 5 crores which the investors wont even take and they will bargain for 5%. For a profitable business, equity is expensive. And he told will invest in phases so he is knowledgable. But problen with investor is they will give 300crore but they want to get very quick return. As quick as possible. His phasal investment may make the return come very slow. For which they cant wait.
12 cr for 1% is good for profitable niche business. Especially of such vegan brand is in California.
