What if you already consistently voice your needs and your partner continues to promise to change, and may even be moving in that direction for 1-2 weeks, but then *consistently* drops the ball because they’re going through work stress, family stress, mental health issues, etc.? Avoiding those 4Rs is great and all IF the other half of the partnership actually takes your communication seriously and actively works on it. I mean, we should give our partners rope, right? But how much is too much?

Great questions, as I'm going thru the same my husband. Years of promises he will do the work, go to therapy, etc but it's all future faking and breadcrumbs to make me not leave for good. The only "effort" I ever see is when I leave. The cycle never seems to end. But how do we know when they hit their rock bottom and will finally do the necessary things, or if it's another manipulation?

Matthew 18:21🙏❤️✨️ Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

@@CDB121987 when you start asking, “How much is too much, you’re likely already at the end of your rope”.

I did went to therapy earlier but I did not find the right psychologist for me, lately I have which is life change experience. And therapy is a process it takes few years to dig in deep to fully began healing.
