Breidis is OLD at 39 and was RUSTY AF. The fact that he had people worried he'd upset Opetaia in the last 4-5 rounds of that fight says a lot about how great he was and still is. The first fight was great.
Porter is my guy! Fight anyone, gives everything he's got, never gasses out, great footwork and constant pressure! And he's the most humble and respectful human being in boxing. I hold this man's opinion very highly. You're the goat, brother!
The only person I see at hw that deserves to fight Usyk is Joseph Parker. It’s a good fight too around the same same, both have good hand speed and good footwork

The truth is more boxers have DIED in the ring and outside the ring than MMA fighters fight in the cage. A boxers punch is a little different than an MMA punch. Just look how Joshua laid out Ngannou in the ring with those big heavy gloves.
Shawn the standing 8 hasn't been a rule in boxing for decades. Nelson let Fury be held up by the ropes 3 or 4 times over 20 seconds of not defending himself, then only intervenes as Usyk is about to execute Fury.
That's not true about it not being a rule, although it's not in effect most fights. But you're right, that was blatantly saving Fury. That should have been a knockout. I understand Porter's view and I agree with some of it, but he was defenseless. I think it's a knockout without the refs interference.
Truth is we have absolutely no idea where AJ is in his career. He has zero top level wins since the Ruiz loss. He's 0-2 in top level fights. He has some good wins over irrelevant fighters and an amateur. None of those wins mean anything in terms of Fury or Usyk.
Usyk definitely has more HP than Fury, if they fight again I think the result would be the same or a unanimous decision. Usyk and his team knows that he needs to work on defending the body more based on what we've seen in his previous fights were he took quite a few body shots. The referee didn't call out some of the dirty stuff that Fury was doing.

Standing 8 count doesn’t involve the ropes. It’s when a fighter is being hurt so much but not going down, the ref has the discretion to pause the action and give the standing 8-count.
