Your soft spoken voice is so calming & relaxing, I could listen to you for hours! You are one of the very best on TH-cam :-)
Aw, thank you!!
Pogs was totally a game. 😂 The players laid out their pogs on the floor and used a metal “slammer” to try to flip them over, IIRC. Any that you flipped over would then become yours! At least that’s how we played.
This video was my childhood. Thanks, Linda!
Interesting! Thanks for the comment!!
This video is so soothing and nostalgic! I also had a coincidental moment where right as you were saying "there's a thunderstorm outside," thunder started rumbling outside my window and rain started falling. It felt very immersive haha!
That’s crazy!! Thanks for watching!
Yay 90s!! This was so fun!! Thank you!! 💖✨💕✨💖
I’m glad you liked it!! Thanks for watching!
Went straight from NKOTB madness to grunge - was 12 in 1990. I discovered a lot of familiar stuff, almost killed myself rollerblading, binge watched the Simpsons with my room mates up to my twenties . Now I am waiting for a chapter on MTV which was super popular in my teens. Thx for this cool moment of nostalgia!
MTV was awesome in the 80's!!
Still got my Pogs
Love your voice so much Linda! Keep up the good work 👏🏽
Thanks!
love your read along videos!!
Thanks!
Captain Planet was so goofy and awesome. I remember rolling my eyes at radical environmentalist stuff like that but it was good they were trying to teach us to care for the Earth.
Thanks for watching!
Only watched half of this, i can't stay awake listening to you.
ur voice is so soothing
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy it.
Saved by the bell was a good show I liked it . New kids on the block were pretty good it's a matter of fact they have a new album are they still sound good
I had the Bart Simpson doll that had a kazoo he could blow through when you pushed on his stomach, and I remember stuffing him with McDonald's french fries
That’s hilarious!!! 😂
The go-ninja song was Vanilla Ice, not MC Hammer. He was actually in the second turtles movie.
I was good at sports in high school but I would always see the unathletic kids playing magic the gathering in class when we had down time and I was always a sucker for fantasy stuff so I wanted to play but felt embarrassed to be seen doing it. I tried anyway and had tons of great sleepovers where we would play 2v2, and collecting the cards was fun too. Back then if you played video games you were considered a nerd, things have changed now and everybody does it. Post Malone is a massive magic the gathering fan for example and Henry Cavil is big into gaming and fantasy.
Ok, the character Scrooge Mcduck has been around since the early Disney days. So you're not wrong about scrooge. Lol.
Ok, I’m not totally crazy!! (Just a little bit) 🤪
i think the stuffed animals you were thinking of are called webkins!
Leonardo. The last turtle was Leonardo
Yes!! Of course! Thank you
They were all named after painters
Different Captain Marvel. The MCU Captain Marvel, Carol, originally Ms. Marvel, is a rip off of Supergirl.
DC’s Captain Marvel the original Captain Marvel is Billy Batson but DC being the morons they are forgot the renew the copyright. So today they call him Shazam. The history of how DC came to acquire Captain Marvel is pretty crazy.
Webkinz was what your kids played with :)
Yes! That's it! Thanks.
No. Duck tales was 90's for sure
I remember watching Scrooge and the nephews after coming home from high school in 1987/88. We’re going to have to google it!! 😂
I didn’t see Micro Machines or Polly Pocket smh
i was born in the 80s, but a 90s girl at 🩷… so this should be interesting
I hope you like it!
@@Nofrillsasmri do!
