Tribute to Tony Iommi Thank you so much for watching & comments everyone! = Gear = Fender Stratocaster Boss SD-1 Marshall AVT-100 Audio Mic - Zoom Q2HD
He used to use fenders until his broke and his sound engineer buddy bought a gibson. Since then gibson became his signature. He mentioned it in his biography
Tony Iommi use to use a fender stratocaster but then the pickups blew and back then you couldn't buy replacement pickups up and ended up trying a gibson sg and liked it
The bridge pickup blew halfway through recording "Black Sabbath" and he had a Gibson SG Special as a backup (his "Monkey" SG). Sort of became his icon.
Yo Gaku, how do you set up your guitar? Like string height n neck relief n string gauge? It's hard to get a good perspective from the angle in your videos. Looks low, but again, it's hard to tell from this angle.
I don't think there is anything wrong with using a fender Stratocaster to do pretty much any cover, because I know from experience they are very versatile. However, Toni Iommi only used humbuckers. So yeah he used a very different guitar, with 3 single coil pickups. But for me, I just closed my eyes and listened, he sounds perfect and gave all his heart in his performance, and it sounded perfect. And I am a metal master and I have spoken. Chill out, this guy is the best, if you don't like it do better. Don't challenge this guy he'll out talent you this guy lives guitar.
Ulianov Gaming I might be wrong but I m pretty sure I read somewhere that Tony used a strat to record most of that album, something about the chunkier neck was easier on his fingertips during the endless hours of recording, like I said I might have that misconstrued a bit,now I'll have to fund where I read it at... there goes my day,lol
Ulianov Gaming I think we might be reading the same things, that sounds about right to me,I've been into sabbath for every second of my 37yrs,I've read so much and learned even more about them,it all kinda blurs together by now,and yet still I'm constantly learning new things about them, greatest band EVER!
Gaku, I'm a great fan of yours, and in my opinion, this strato is not a guitar for you. You have an agressive pic and the Gibson Les Paul Custom that you have, has a better answer for you. I think that this music can be greater with the Les Paul (EMG's 81 & 85), not whit this guitar..
You have brought great shame to the Gaku name by releasing this song performed on a strat. In short I’m saying “bruh....wtf?! You are so much better than that”
Fan fact
There is a sequence where Tony Iommi is playing White Strat in Jethro Tull in Rock’n Roll Circus.

Are you planning to do some Yngwie covers?
How does he get that sound with single coil pickups?
Benjamin V. Tony Iommi at the first was play on stratocaster
Great cover! I got one question for you. What video editing program do you use?
Che pedali o distorsioni usi per arrivare al suolo no dei Black sabbath con Stratocaster??? Please 🥲🤤
Perché a te pare il suono dei sabbath??? 😅😆😆😆... comunque la cover è tecnicamente ben eseguita.
Is this the same strat you use on the Uli Jon Roth stuff?
Супер )

Leshreddur Mitchell wicked world was recorded on a strat and the paranoid album was with an SG with P90s
You are not a metal master. Iommi used p90s too.
Damn Asians, first maths, now guitars
*Gaku .... yes correct
My name is Lucifer, please take my hand.
why fender?
DonVictor9 Iommi play on strat before sg
So there's actually a good chance NIB was originally recorded with a Strat.
That is No Strat
I was just pointing out a little fun fact. :)

Chieff The interment doesn't matter, the player does... And he's one hell of a player.

Richard Schram he is better that's why he did it, you punk
Crabmane Not the full album. Only one song and it is Wicked Worlds. Get your facts right.
