In addition to donations, the channel also earns money from youtube (ad revenue and monthly membership fees) and from the merchandise Jared sells. Some people estimate the channel's earnings to be as high as $250,000 per month. Only Jared receives the money that the channel receives from donations, ad revenue, membership fees, and merchandise. Everybody else are unpaid volunteers. Jared begs for donations from subscribers to buy new equipment, etc., but he makes more than enough money to cover all his expenses and pay himself generously.

when people disappear mysteriously and without explanation....check under water, check lakes near by, ponds. It's not uncommon that people who "vanished" accidentally drove into water and drown, only to be found years later. My brother's friend from college went missing a few years back, and they thought everything under the moon including kidnapping, until someone saw strange tire tracks leading away from the road, she had drowned in her car the night she went missing.

@@WellBeing999 That happened to me and my daughter about 16-17 years ago. We were on our way to a church function that was being held at night. It was in an area that I wasn't all that familiar with and I got a little lost - turned left when I should have gone right. After driving for a while, I realized I was going in the wrong direction - the road I was traveling wasn't well lit - and decided to make a U-turn. Right before I started to turn the wheel slightly to the right, to ensure I had enough space to make the turn without having to back up and go forward again, I heard "not here". Thankfully, I listened and travelled a little further down the road to make the U-turn. As we were passing the spot where I first thought to make a I looked, only to see that part of what I initially thought was road was actually a body of water. I have no idea how deep it was but I believe that based on the slant leading into the water we would have driven (or rolled over) right into it.

It wasn’t until several months later his car was discovered upside down in a river along the highway where he traveled. They concluded that on that day, there was a flash flood that only lasted a short time, and with the Summer heat, everything then dried up, but never thought to look along the road since there was no sigh s of an accident. They felt he must have been blinded by the intensity of the rain, his car skidded off the road and landed upside down where he drowned. Also because it the high brush, his car went unseen until the Winter when the brush died off. I always wondered if they looked hard enough for him and how awful it had to be for his family.

LEO's can't just dedicate someone to one job like that and how often do locals disappear like that as well. Private citizens and private detectives aren't bound by the same rules and regulations that law enforcement are. If they don't follow procedure to the letter cases get thrown out & judges & juries deny trials. It's really as simple as that. Plus most police/Sheriff Depts are not as big as we all think. I know many cities that have only 2 cops in duty for cities of 60,000- 90,000 people. I wish people could see what kinds of pressure they are under. Even super large cities have small Depts die to financial cutbacks. It's really bad. There also lab is if equipment, jail cells, jailors, electronics, bullet proof vests. I know officers who have to buy their own. They are like $700.00.

The big question is, ‘was this missing car found along one of the routes this woman was supposed to be heading in?’ If yes, then there is simply no excuse whatsoever that police failed to find this submerged car. This volunteer group found the car within ONE hour of searching! The authorities have Lots of questions to answer to. But as usual with these events, I doubt anyone will ever be held accountable - even IF a criminal cover up was involved. Did she accidentally drive off the road into that creek? There would certainly have been skid marks, tire tracks and broken brush at the time. Did she commit suicide-murder? The same evidence of her car running off the road would have been found 20 years ago. Was she murdered and all the tracks covered up? That’s most likely imo.

Always be careful and hyper aware of the road. Driving is no time to be complacent and or too relaxed. Think about what you will do if a squirrel or deer jump out, or if a car swerves toward you. Think about what is on the side of the road and what will happen if you were to drive off. It might be that the safest option for you is to hit whatever jumps out suddenly, rather than spinning off into deep water. If you are aware of potential dangers, you can avoid them before they come whipping onto the road--I'm talking about other cars who show signs of recklessness, which can be avoided oftentimes, before they are in the perfect spot to run you off the road. Sadness and blessings for the victims.

Deer: I did have 1 deer hit the side of my van in living at Lake Travis for 23 years. Most times don't panic if you have a deer beside your vehicle.
Also, if your car does run into a river or creek? Roll down your window before the car gets submerged. Keep a knife in console, in case you might need to cut your way out of the seatbelts. Use the handle of knife if you have to bust your way out of the window. Don't just let yourself drown! I think God put us here to do certain things, and we can't get it done if we allow ourselves to be killed one way or other.

    So heartbreaking.
I'm grateful the family finally has the answers they've been longing for.

Absolutely stellar work, Adventures with Purpose!! As for the local police in that area... well, everything pretty much speaks for itself. I'm hopeful the family members and friends of the missing persons can finally have some sense of closure and find some peace.

I’ve watched quite a lot of their or your other TH-cam videos about these cases! Keep up the good work! You guys are awesome, and ought to be given an award!!!

Ive watched this team with Jared, who founded Adventures with Purpose. Started out very small, with their little boat, heavy duty magnet and sonar. Soon they realized their hobby found a purpose when they began to find and report the cars they found underwater. These cars would belong to missing people! Cold cases solved and family members could finally rest. Word of mouth begin to spread and families began to call for help. They never charge, people around the world give to help their cause. If youve had family members go missing in their car, give them a call, you will get results one way or the other. Yes we found the car, or no its not in that lake so we will try this one. Pray for them always.
