I have my own theory about Karma. She’s Gelorum from the future. Think about it, she looks like Gelorum, she sorta talks like Gelorum, and she interested in the drones to point of saying they deserve to win. She also seems to about certain things that’s happening with the enemies in the realms. Exhibit A: How did the Teku and Metal Maniacs know to call the Sweepers by what Gelorum called them? Likely it was Karma that told them they were called Sweeper’s in the first place. Exhibit B: In Breaking Point, Tezla confronts Karma about what happened to Taro in the Ice Realm. After denying that she ever saw Taro in the Ice Realm, she then said “I don’t see things that aren’t there” which gave Tezla the idea that the Silencers were secretly entering the realms. She wouldn’t have given such a huge hint like that if she didn’t already have this info. Exhibit C: She knew the drones were focusing on the on the specific skill requirements for the realms. Granted she was testing Sparky for that info to begin with but I think she was doing that to figure out how to counter it. Exhibit D: In the Cosmic Realm, when the other drivers were wondering why the drones haven’t turned to face them yet, Karma says “They only care about winning now” suggesting that she knew that the drones were focused on getting the last Accelecharger needed to activate the ultimate race. Exhibit E: In the Drones HQ, Karma not only knew that they were being led into a trap by Drone Kadeem, but she also knew that the drones were targeting the hijacked Sweeper with their cannons. I also wanted to point out the fact that Karma is likely a Teku Racer because Gelorum was defeated by Vert Wheeler, a Teku Racer, in the ultimate race. Heck that’s probably why she’s called Karma in the first place.
Karma is just a perfectionist, in the first scene of ignition she’s intrigued when gig says that the drones are perfect drivers also when they go into the swamp realm she was meditating hoping nolo would be able to complete it. She always questioned how the fact that the drones were able to not only win but drive so well in every realm which is why she was obsessed with the drone that came through the portal with vert. She said it herself she wasn’t interested in how it would think but how it would drive. Before they went into the metro realm all the other drivers were asleep while she was trying to perfect her driving skills she’s not Gelorum she’s just herself. She most likely figured out that when they were in the drones headquarters that something was off it was too quiet, if they have onboard cameras in their cars you really think the drones wouldn’t? And she didn’t hint anything to Telza he figured that out himself since he was working with the Silencerz prior to before he went rogue and stole gig. But your point in whys she’s named Karma makes no sense from what we know she was with the Teku way before Vert she knew Tone on a personal level from what it seems like, and she never did anything to try and intentionally sabotage Vert. If anything she tried to help him like she did with all other drivers giving them advice on how to drive depending what realm they were in. At the end of the day Karma is just a perfectionist who shares some similarities to Gelorum but that’s it. Gelorum sees her drones as pieces to her puzzle they’re expendable to her whilst Karma actually has a soul and tries to help the other drivers Teku/Maniacs. Her goal was never win accelechargers but to race against the best competition she could find which is why she even agreed to even go with Vert and Kurt in the first scene of ignition. She had no prior knowledge to the world race if she was future Gelorum she wouldn’t have asked gig about the drones and would’ve left quickly like Vert and Kurt did. Karma is just a high level competitor who embodies what the Accelerons wanted from humans. To be able to transcend from what you think is your limit and surpass that by being overly dedicated to be able to acknowledge the challenge at hand and be able to overcome it. If she was future Gelorum why would she help the drivers at all? We know that Gelorums only motive is to reach/defeat the Accelerons. Karma wouldn’t have agreed to go after Wylde if she was Geloum from the future she would’ve tried to reach them also if that were the case
@@guangos_mangos8756 But she got kad at 99%, and the drone was happy, so i would've guessed she lost at the last percent. Which means to me she wanted to really win against it in a perfect.driving competition, or qt least tie it.
What did the accelerons left behind? A challenge. Tesla doesn't see the racing realms as a challenge with a skill to master. He is only interested in the accelechargers and discovering more about them. But at the end of the ultimate race, the accelerons took Vert as the winner since he overcome the test left to the humans to prove themselves worthy of joining them. Tesla would never be worthy of becoming an acceleracer since he let the teku and metal maniacs do the most important part.
I always assumed Gelorum was talking about the Race against an Acceleron at the end of the Ultimate Race, as she speaks the way she does of it in high regard because its important to her ego, her believing the Accelerons left her behind because she wasn't good enough for them, while she also seems pleased by the notion that Tezla doesn't know, because then neither Tezla nor his drivers will have any desire to -or more likely a plan, to reach the end, or even stop her. On that line of thought; when Tezla realizes what's at the end and begs Gelorum to take him with her, she almost seems to regard him with contempt while stating that when she gets back, he'll be the first to be destroyed
I think that the "thing" Accelerons left for humans is knowledge about cars and racing. Here are points to my theory: - Its really strange that humans created cars incredibly similar to drone cars (four wheels, steering wheel, windows, hood, basically the normal car shape). Gelorum also said that the Drones waited THOUSANDS of years until humans started using the "thing" Accelerons left for them, meaning that humans USED that "thing". If the Accelerons left us knowledge about cars and racing (maybe in our DNA), they had to wait until we learn how to even build them, this is the "thousands of years waiting" Gelorum mentioned. - Tezla DOESN'T KNOW about this. Yes, he knows how to USE IT (since he knows how to build and drive cars), but he DOESN'T KNOW that its from the Accelerons. - Metro realm perfectly fits this theory. It is really wierd that Metro realm, that was built THOUSANDS OF YEARS before humans could race in realms, is so similar to human cities, cars and trucks. It seems like the Metro realm was FIRST and humans had a feeling they need to build something similar, because of the gift from Accelerons in human DNA. - Also that mysterious stela could be human made. Maybe ancient humans witnessed the Accelerons driving to HW 35 and they saw the Wheel of Power (or they saw it in dreams, cuz its hidden in their DNA like I said before). - last point (or maybe a minitheory): Karma could be from Accelerons bloodline. In the past, when Accelerons visited the earth, they maybe breeded with humans and created a human/Acceleron hybrid and Karma is from one of those bloodlines. Thats why she has talent for realms and sensed that Drone gun shooting. I hope it doesn't sound too crazy :D Also sorry for grammar errors, english is my second language
Karma realized how sus Kadeem was and put the pices together, she knows the Drones shoot at them constantly and knew they were being lead into a trap and Karma is just a perfectionist, she raced with the Drone and was able to improve her own skills via VR of sorts so I dont buy she is an Acceleron.
But maybe someway linked to the eccelerons witch is why her drive for perfection not everyone has a drive for perfection ok most people now days are lazy and doesn't perfect there skills so I go with carma and who names a person carma to so I think she's some how linked to the eccelerons in some shape or form
First time watching the movies I always thought that Karma was what Galorum was referring to, it just makes the most sense with the character development.
theory: What if the Artic leg from H35 is located in Earth? It would make sense since the Drones have gone to the artic leg (Earth) to hibernate, and when World Race took place, they woke up when H35 drivers where being blocked and could've honk off-screen since they were block making them wake up, and this would make them easy to invade HW City since they were near to it, and that's why we see a silencer infiltrated without even going in the sweeper/manuever 7. But this will debunk because Gelorum already waked up unless... that the robot (RD-G1) and the android (Gelorum) fuse each other.
Well that's a theory that i came up with too because in the original script, World Race takes place on different regions on earth, like we seen in comics which Mattel produced about each driver.
@@evanmykoniatis That was obviously changed in the movies at some point in production to different dimensions as shown with the first leg clearly taking place no where earth like. And the 4th leg of the race if it was in the real world would probably be found seeing how big the city and track layout are. So even though the original intent was to set it in the real world, it was changed later on and that is reinforced by acceleracers setting all the tracks in different dimensions.
You just got me thinking. In world race, Tesla said he found the tablet with the words on it detailing the wheel of power to him that gave him the knowledge he needed to research highway 35. I know it’s a bit of a reach, but what if that tablet came from the ruins realm? Maybe those words we see on the walls had something to do with their creation with the accelerons? Maybe the giant stone creature we see is some kind of guardian of the ancient ruins? Maybe the drones were created there and abandoned after their hostility to the accelerons was shown? Maybe that hostility came up after they discovered the rune that showed the wheel of power? Maybe, that rune got brought with them to earth, where they hibernated, and somehow got to the hands of Tesla? What if Gelorum adapted a more human disguise to get the rune to Dr. Tesla, who had the technology and help from the government to research a way back into highway 35 to get to the wheel of power?
Tom Wheeler covered my theory about Karma being an Acceleron or having connections to them in his own theory video. I like that we're thinking on the same wave length!
Theory 9. The accelarons left behind an opportunity to join them. The only way to be accepted is to win the final race on your own marets without the accelachargers.
Just want to add that the accelarons may be using the same logic as education systems. You get badges and certificates that say you completed a bunch of courses but what is important is the skills you developed through completing those courses. I think the accelarons said it best, "what is important is not knowing you win; but, striving to win", and the drones never understood that. Also thanks for the like ChinnyMisc.
I mean...there's definetly something going on with Karma. I like your theory rather than specting her to be a sleeping agent. Now about what the accelerons left behind... in the spanish version Gelorum says that Tezla does know what it is, but he didn't want the racers to know (I couldn't figure out what that means). Then there's the ruins realm clip. I guess as ridiculous as it sounds... it is the cars, or the technology needed to build them. Everything in this series revolves around driving skills and speed, which from the first movie acts as a link between time and space (allowing them to travel to other dimensions)
One of the things I thought about is that maybe the Accelerons left clean technology for the human race to use. The Wheel of Power was just one of the pieces of clean technology that would allow the human race to eventually find out about the rest of them. The original plan for HW Acceleracers was to talk about a "clean source of speed", in contrast with the destructive source that impacted Earth negatively.
Ya know, the portal and Reverb at the end always confused me, but now I think it could’ve been for one of two reasons (only reason I’m mentioning all this is because I’m kinda just waiting for replies for better answers): 1. As the race was over, any who’d try to enter would be rejected and pushed back out. Reverb was detected as a Silencerz car only *after* the Nitrox2 afterburner was outfitted. The only visible reason Vert went to the Acceledrome after the “”Ultimate Race”” was because He traveled through a manually opened portal which was, most likely, manually directed to the Acceledrome instead of the Silencerz base of operations. 2. The Silencerz base of operations is an artificial realm or one that has been taken over, and since the Wheel of Power had nowhere else to take Vert, he ended up there. *BONUS TANGENT(s)* Why the Wheel of power acts as both a portal to the realms is because the Accelerons made it to assist growing civilizations before letting them into the realms. This stems questions which I will now answer. Why was it hangin out in an empty city doing nothing: It was a normal city hangin out at Earth’s Highway 35 before the Accelerons came and poofed it behind the 300mph barrier and reconstructing it to become Hot Wheels City and leaving the wheel of power as a crumb trail for those curious. Why was the wheel of power activated the time it was: The wheel of power was activated after the drones stole it, most likely being activated through hacking and experimenting (I can also answer why the drone woke up at the time they did, remember how desolate the realms were? How the Hyperpods were abandoned? How much they were in disrepair? How Gelorum waited “so long?”, she waited to be forgotten about and for the realms to be forgotten so she could breeze through the realms and get to the Accelerons uncontested for her revenge) How wasn’t doctor Tezla able to figure this out: Despite having help from probably the SCRIM Corporation, Gig, and Lani, the reason Dr. Tezla couldn’t figure it out is because he was doing other things. Seeing his obsessive desire and questionable ethics to unquestionably and unapologetically figure out the mystery of the Accelerons, the only priority higher than that is escaping to continue his work elsewhere because he was kicked out of the SCRIM corporation, or he left. This is also an explanation to the Acceledrome’s secrecy and major Wheeler’s appearance as a Silencer (or it could be an organization who kidnapped major Wheeler instead of the Silencerz just being the SCRIM Corporation). Also, I know rhis was probably due to budget cuts on background art, but in my head cannon, Shirako was an excellent driver long ago, so the SCRIM/Silencerz got to him and made him either a (now former) recruit or experiment. I imagine Shirako escaped or was disposed of due to him just loving music a bit too much for their goals.
Accelerons are perfect racers (from what i can tell) so i don’t think it would make sense for her to be one since she was learning from the drone itself. Maybe part acceleron?, but it could also make sense since Kurt mentions that gelorum and karma look so much alike which i don’t think they would have mentioned for no reason. It just goes to show how many layers there are to this amazingly perfect series that was never finished tho.
We do know that Accelerons have some sort of heightened danger sense, a sort of sixth sense they have for their intuition, given how quickly the Acceleron reacted to Gelorum attacking Vert without flinching. Maybe Karma does have that sixth sense as well.
I’ve watched this video and these comments and my mind has really been blown. As much of a reach as it sounds, that tablet that Tezla mentions could be from the ruins realm. What if that place, with all the writing that we see, has something to do with the drones creation? What if the very reason the drones became hostile with the accelerons was because they found the tablet detailing the wheel of power? What if gelorum was sent to earth with the drones with the tablet, hibernated there until someone suitable came along, like Tezla, who had support from the government as well, and helped get the tablet to tezla more with a more human disguise? That could explain the rough condition and why the tablet was on earth? Maybe she needed someone like tezla and the human drivers to get the work done to get back into highway 35 so she could get to the accelerons again? What if she was stealing info and tech from tezla without his knowledge, and that’s why tezla left the silencers, thinking they were stealing from him? Maybe there’s a history between the 2? That would explain how they knew where Tesla’s hideout in world race was, and why she said that tezla would be the first to be destroyed when she got back from the ultimate race? Now as for karma, there are plenty of great comments going into the moments shes had that reveal something, but what exactly? I have 2 theories myself. Either the accelerons created her, with the intent of either perfecting driving to combat the drones with the help of the humans, while teaching the humans a few things along the way, or she could be a drone. If gelorum gave herself a more human appearance, reshaped herself into a new form after world race, has the ability to create entire factories for drones for the realms, and can remake humans like Kadeem with machines that were apparently already available, it’s entirely possible that karma was created with the drones spitting image. She could be a place for gelorum to say, transfer her conscious to if she died, like at the end of the ultimate race, which could be how she comes back in the 5th movie (if there ever is one). It would explain everything. Why she looks like gelorum, understands the realms purpose, knows of the attack in the sweeper at drone HQ, all that stuff. Karma could very well be with the teku because gelorum wants to keep tabs on Vert wheeler! I think that karma plays a big part in the plot that we would have yet to see, but that’s the best I personally could think of. I think there could be a lot more to it, but that’s the rough version of it.
@@chinnymisc then i would choose the karma theorie, as the drones theorie might not be the best option here, plus how the hell did karma know that the drone's cannon was fired at them??? And her trying to achieve perfection at driving, knowing the tricks and techniques for the realms and looking too similar to gelorum are just too many coincidences. Sorry for the long answer.
@@francomrad5795 Kadeem sounded suspicious and she used her experience with Drones firing at her team so much, she put it together and her intuition told her they're being lead into a trap. Plus she told Monkey to slow down because she is alarmed at the thought they are going to get in the crosshairs, like paranoia and to not take chances.
What if Karma’s name refers to the religious principle of Karma, wherein one’s actions have mirrored consequences, and she is named Karma, as her benevolent existence is literally Karma (the religious force) for Gelorum’s malevolent existence. Perhaps she was created by the accelerons, or was created by an even higher power above them.

I don’t get the shirako part? Does he look similar or is it just from what happened in the pipeline realm
Son buenas teorías 👋🤔
Karma is definitely an Acceleron, how did she sense that drone cannon coming towards the sweeper🤔
Maybe she thought something was wrong about kadeem knowing where they needed to go
Or just a human intriqued by the Accelerons and want to take the lessons to heart.
@@amn0940 She actually realized how suspicious "Keep going, straight ahead..." was and was able to tell they were set up in a trap.
I saw the metal maniacs logo in kedeem dad staff
In my opinion the karma and the drones theories make more sense than the others. Why not both?
THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE
@@chinnymisc then i would choose the karma theorie, as the drones theorie might not be the best option here, plus how the hell did karma know that the drone's cannon was fired at them??? And her trying to achieve perfection at driving, knowing the tricks and techniques for the realms and looking too similar to gelorum are just too many coincidences. Sorry for the long answer.
@@francomrad5795 np I enjoy reading comments
@@chinnymisc glad to hear that!
Don't blame ChinnyMisc for coom-ing after theory number 7.
The Accelerons could have inspired mechanical thinking in ancient humans.
Holy shit bro….I’ve been sayin Karma for the LONGEST….
How she just instantaneously feel the force and tells monkey to stop the sweeper…🌚
