This is a great tutorial! I wanted to follow your other bass tutorials but they don't have the chords on screen like this one. I found having the chords really helped.

The Song Learners and Worship Bass Collection lessons don't have on screen graphics but we include them in our Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced courses.
Of course what we are trying to do here is help you develop memory for the songs and patterns rather than relying on tab and chord charts. But we do provide some simple free charts on the website when you purchase any of the lessons.

Just found this video and have been practicing. Just started learning bass 3 weeks ago for my 50th birthday. My dilemma... for the bridge, going from D# (D string, 1st fret) to G# (E string, 4th fret) is much farther than my little hand can stretch. I am trying it as D# (A string, 6th fret) to G# (E string, 4th fret) and it seems to work better for me. The sound is the same, so I think it will be alright.

Ana Mendoza That used to confuse me too. I think it comes down to a matter of smoothness of motion and the saving of energy. If there are several places to play a note, but one place is much closer to the note you just played (or even the note after the next note) it's your choice how much you want to move your hand.

+ELECTRO the chords for guitar are in the video, too. The bass allways plays the second letter (if there is one), the first is allways for guitar. So in the Chorus you have E - H - E - A
