So i'd say there is a pretty big chance of F/GO getting the same treatment, especially considering how popular the mobile game is. I don't think it would be released as an arcade though, but as a normal online game like the other two.

Fate for some reason gets everything back to front. Usually the original games are superior to the anime adaptations where's with Fate, their games are of low production quality and their anime adaptations are almost nothing short of masterpieces. I think they made him use durandal in one of his special moves. Though I agree that it would have been fitting to project durandal there. He could have also projected Caladbolg since, apart front turning it into a BP, he also uses it to thrust into his opponent's heart sometimes.
@@BNF5005 yeah Caladbolg would have been ok too, but Durandal is supposed to be one of Emiya's favourite one-handed sword when he doesn't want/need to dual wield Kanshou and Bakuya and that sword is also really powerfull and cool (more than Nero's one for sure), it definitley deserves more than being shown only as a "background weapon" in the Gate of Babylon

It's a shame that we haven't really seen EMIYA use other weapons aside from Kanshou and Bakuya at close range. I get it, they're supposed to be his favorite and since they didn't originally have an owner, he doesn't copy someone else's techniques and uses his own dual wielding style. But there are also better weapons inside UBW even for close range (durandal, caladbolg or even hrunting are perfect examples) and I feel like he would get even better results if he used those at cqc more often.

It makes little sense. And too much fanservice will leave nobody taking the franchise seriously anymore. There's only so much logic you can bend before logic is no longer there. You may say I'm overreacting now, but let's see how the franchise is still doing within another decade or so with the way it's going now. Fate once had respect, but now it's known as nothing more than a franchise full of waifus and fanservice.

more specifically the phantasm they're showing is his "mastery of all weapons." Berserker Lancelot is incapable of using Arondight, so this is the best one to show for it.

I think they made him use durandal in one of his special moves. Though I agree that it would have been fitting to project durandal there. He could have also projected Caladbolg since, apart front turning it into a BP, he also uses it to thrust into his opponent's heart sometimes.
@@BNF5005 yeah Caladbolg would have been ok too, but Durandal is supposed to be one of Emiya's favourite one-handed sword when he doesn't want/need to dual wield Kanshou and Bakuya and that sword is also really powerfull and cool (more than Nero's one for sure), it definitley deserves more than being shown only as a "background weapon" in the Gate of Babylon
@@lorenzovismara9385 You're right. I feel the same way. It also has the cool trait that it's indestructible. It's a shame that we haven't really seen EMIYA use other weapons aside from Kanshou and Bakuya at close range. I get it, they're supposed to be his favorite and since they didn't originally have an owner, he doesn't copy someone else's techniques and uses his own dual wielding style. But there are also better weapons inside UBW even for close range (durandal, caladbolg or even hrunting are perfect examples) and I feel like he would get even better results if he used those at cqc more often.
I like to imagine that when those goons are blasted away, they're all screaming like the cops from Hellsing Abridged Episode 3.
