I saw a Mordred fight where she uses her NP every turn. How the hell do you deal with that? I've been told Robin Hood is good so I have been working on him but I have a severe lack of dragon teeth and 6 servants including him that needs them. I'm looking forward to getting Euryale too when the next singularity is released. I heard she's good.
Destiny87 Mordred is actually one of the easier Knights of the Round. Her HP is low enough that units like Robin Hood can melt her very quickly. Also units like David can buy you extra time. A lot of Archers also have a dodge skill, and you can use your Mystic Code last even longer. Basically nuke her before you run out of defensive options.
Robin is actually super good. One of the better grail targets much like Cu here. A good budget support for him is Mozart. Mozart is not very helpful for random farming and such but for major boss fights he can help Robin Hood shine. th-cam.com/video/vwd-kLVAZTE/w-d-xo.html Here is a example.

The reason he was dealing so little damage with Gae Bolg was because of the bugged gimmick this battle had, which was fixed hours after this vid was made.
Now that I saw the video entirely... I Can see why you were able to beat him. His skills seem to be all at lv.10. He's lv.100 and he has the Ishtar/Quetz CE equipped. It still seems hard AF... But I can see why it's possible. Splendid work. ☺

I beat him in pre bug as well. Though I had to use this team: - Mashu - Taiga (CE) - Support Scathach (CE) - Cu - Merlin - Santa Jeanne My plan was to protect Scathach at all costs and have her fire GBA once ready. With NP Damage down she dealt around... I think less than 10K. After the 10 turns expired it went to 500K. It was really hard...
Np charge from enemies on hit is based on amount of hits and your character's np charge from taking hits, not the amount of damage, so if it's a high 1-hit attack you're gonna very little and if it's a bunch of low damage hits you'll get more np charge

its possible with the 50% reduction he hit ~640k true damage, it depends on the buffs and levels. But generally, Scat can hit absurd levels on Gil who is double weak to her.
There might be some setups where it could work. Now Medb is a boss Rule Breaker can be helpful in. Medb doesn't attack until all the trash mobs are dead. But she gains attack buffs for each trash mob that died. But you can remove them and they are gone for good. Rule Breaker is also super good in the Hassan fight. The named Hassans have a buff on them they when killed they insta kill the person that killed them. but Rule Breaker removes it. (Note that if Rule Breaker 1 shots the Hassan the insta kill will go off BEFORE Rule Breaker removes it. So don't give Medea the event CE) All in all I got a lot of value out of Medea in Nerofest.
Honako Green I see. So I'm guessing it's best too use a servant wit survivability skills if it's go be a straight head to head fight with no use of Noble Phantasms in the mix.
lol, I find that pretty weird since I don't remember last year Gil would lower your NP dmg by 99.99%, so my Karna hit like breathing into his face. Still killed Gil cause 200% CE plus incredible crit steroid with his NP effects.
So,a super stall team of Medea,Asterios (to even out the buffs) and a taunter like Mashu or Leonidas could work but that's gonna take an hour or so;A VERY risky hour
When I did it without Cu. I focused my team around Artoria Pendragon Lancer Alter. Set up some massive buster crits. This fight seems to have a pretty wide range of viable strats.
According to a guide on reddit: When gils buffs get removed he charges his NP and uses it, then reapplies the buffs. So medea doesnt seem that great unless you can tank enuma elish
You are cherry picking. I actually had awful crit luck though out the video if you pay attention. I repeated this strat quite a few times and it's win rate was well over 80% Most of the time I won sooner actually because normally you crit way more than I did in this video. I picked this run specifically because I crit so little.
Not really. the fight lasts so long your going to crit sooner or later. And it doesn;t matter when you crit. Also you realize this version of the fight is much harder because it's bugged.
Expect the boss was bugged and this isn't how the fight actually goes lol. This video is from the JP server before the bug was fixed. NA doesn't have to deal with this and Cu can murder this with his eyes closed.

Does gil give enough noble phantasm charge to do the Leonidas noble phantasm every turn spam to tank? or does gils attack bonuses just cancel it out?

Is it possible to proc Gae Bolg's instant kill on the bosses? If so, it has to incredibly low to miss multiple times.
julbot1 Gae Bolg has a 60% of hitting the target but if the target has a lot of resist then your chances are lowered significantly.

You can remove the ATK buffs but he will cast Ea right away if you remove them. And he will just start casting them again.
But it's a decent last resort if you can't out DPS and end up stalling, right? And he kinda spams Ea all the time anyway it seems
