Nice, I only have 7 movie wands so far. James Potter my first wand, Harry, Dumbledore's, Yaxley, Professor Snape, Draco Malfoy, and Goyle's wands Got the Yaxley wand for sort of an original looking wand since he didn't have much wand action =] My grandma actually got that one for me technically so

Fred’s wand is supposed to be the end of a broom stick and george’s is the handle so when they get put together it makes a complete broom.

Do you know where to find original Olivander's box wands? I really want Neville's, McGonnagol's and Lupin's but I only really like the old style wand boxes.
nightowl best bet would be to try eBay or conventions - that’s where I found second hand wands in the original boxes

Wow Rodney amazing collection. Great video again. I taught the symbols on Snape's wand where asian. My collection counts 27 wands now. I had my doubth about James Potter wand, but seeing it now took my doubth away. I love it. And bying it for my collection. Thanks again and see you soon
arklaassens yeah I can’t remember where I heard about the symbols on snakes wand - I think it was from an interview with Alan Rickman, but I’m not sure.

I love your collection! I have the 10 wand display but I have space for only 2 more!! I can't choose....So far I have Lupin's, Tonks', McGonagall's, Sirius', Elder wand, Hermione's, Harry's, and Ginny's wands. What would be your vote for the remaining 2 spaces?? I feel like I should have Ron's wand but it isn't one of my faves honestly....I love Slughorn's wand. I'm considering that one and Narcissa's. I liked her in the end. And cheers from across the pond in the US! :)
TheSelkie1990 aw wow those are some amazing wands! Well I know not the most interesting - but I simply had to have Ron’s wand, because he was a golden trio. After that I went for the most intricate designs. The real question is, will you really stop after only two more? I know I wouldn’t be able to 😅🤣🤣
@@onespellaway Haha! Probably not (so many I want to get!)...I do have to wait till I have more space though...I do have Scorpius' wand from when I saw the Cursed Child on Broadway last year. He was my favorite. I had to get one there! So, technically, I do have 9 but I keep that one separated from the display. I think of it as different than the original ones if that makes any sense. It also doesn't have a name tag for it, so it would look weird with the rest that do. It's one of my faves though! I want Albus' wand too now. Oh dear...wands are addicting! You can also get your own wand from Pottermore made now.

I wish there were official replicas of Harry's wand from The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets being made.
I believe I have seen very rare replicas that were made when the first films came out. Very expensive and super hard to get sadly
I’m wanting Luna’s first wand too. It’s beautiful. Very simple, plain but with little acorns and leaves carved into it. It’s one of my favorites.
David May agreed - is I just gotta do it and get that whole Dumbledore’s army set
My favorite design on a wand is Dumbledore’s first wand from Fantastic Beasts. My favorite wand in a meaningful way is Molly Weasley’s wand. I bought it on my trip to visit my mom on Mother’s day 2019. My dad passed away earlier in the year so a mom wand out of the two parents was special to me.
My suggestions are Kingsley Shacklebolt, Molly Weasley, Viktor Krum, Leta Lestrange, and Bellatrix Lestrange's second wand, those were cool ohh and Percy Weasley's wand is also surprisingly fun to hold ahahha
OOH! I do have Krum's wand, but the others were only ones I had considered getting much later. Might need to get Shacklebolt's sooner 😅
I have made wands I never copy others as these are the most simple designs I whittled my first one in 2022 .
Aaah I want one but I don't know which one to buy. I'm aiming for Newt's but I just love the hefty simplistic look of Malfoy's. Dang they're all so neat. It would have been fun to be a designer for the movies conjuring up wands all day

The most popular place to get wands from is the Noble Collection brand, but if you want to know WHERE to buy them, you can buy them from the official Noble Collection site, I'm sure Amazon has them, and, if you live in the U.S, I believe that Barnes & Noble has them. That's just where I buy mine
I have included links to all the wands in the description of the video. As our fellow Potterhead points out, they are all by Noble Collection, but they can be bought on Amazon, directly from Noble Collection and all good Harry Potter shops. As wands tend to be around £30, they would usually be purchased gradually and make good gifts for Birthdays and Christmas etc

Hi, let me ask about the wand boxes. Most of your boxes have a sticker on the side. McGonagall's too. But the McGonagall Wand I have has no sticker on the side. What is the difference? Where does one find wandboxes that look more like the ones in the film? As far as I know Olivanders's boxes are for the trio, Voldemort, Snape, Sirius, Dumbledore and Malfoy. Did they re-design the other boxes lately?

Other character wands that used to be in those style boxes, have been replaced with more plain and slimline style boxes. I'm not sure why, but that is what is currently available

Liked this video thanks. You have such a lovely voice, I could listen to you for hours. Just ordered my first wand today Elder Wand. I'm a magician and using it as a prop -- should provide good misdirection since it is so fascinating to look at. Someone else has probably already commented about it I am sure, but it is pronounced: Keltic.

@@onespellaway Of all the wands you have I like the following the best I think: Elder Wand, Harry Potter's, Hermani's, Sirius Black, Xenophilius Lovegood, Cho Chang, Gregorovitch. I want a couple more so I can vary when doing my magic acts. Definitely want Hermani's and Gregovitch wands soon, as they kind of look druidic.

Currently I have Newts, Queenies, The Dark Mark Death Eater Wand and on the way I have The Elder Wand, Spielmans Wand (Fantastic beasts). Will purchase next either Nikolas Flamels wand or Dumbledore's original wand

I have a lot of the same collection. Missing a few here and there probably around five but some that I do have that you don’t seem to have yet is Lucius Malloy’s original wand w/cane (honestly my favorite wand design ever and my favorite wand of my collection) and kigsley shacklebolts wand which is a fairly unique and cool looking wand but we don’t see it in the movies if my memory serves me right (except for deathly hallows part one when he pulled it on lupin but we didn’t see the design because it was dark so it doesn’t count)
i’m going to universal next month and i’m thinking about getting dracos :))

That wand is just a simple wooden wand. It does not belong to any character, but it was the first real wooden wand i purchased a very long time ago, when browsing in London. I don't think a whole video on it would be very interesting, but you can see pictures of it over on my instagram account:

Newo10 well - I first bought all the trios wands and then bought others - but Draco’s is why ended it all - it would depend which you like more ha ha
Depends on what Kind of wand do you want. Dracos wand is quite simple but the story behind is so essential for the books/films. Rons isnt really important for the story but has got a better Design i think. So do you want Storyvalue or a good Design?

It’s either you want a simple and plain wand that killed the most evil wizard that has lived or a nice detailed that doesn’t do much glory as seen to us potter heads.

I love how you display your wands! Normally I'd like to see them displayed out of box, but since you have so many, you can actually display them just as they do in Olivanders...the boxes are beautiful too! Very well done! Can you please tell me where you got the gold hand prop? It's spectacular, I've not seen that anywhere before.

Do you order these online? And do you know if the ones they sell at the studio tours are the noble collection wands? I want to start collecting but I'm not sure about the best way to do it. The only one I own so far is Luna's, and I got it from the studio tour
You can order these online or purchase them in person. The studio tour wands I believe are Noble Collection, they are simply sold in different boxes.
I would recommend to start gradually. Wands are pricy items so to make it realistic - purchase slowly. I went for my favourite characters and then the most interesting looking wands, but I would say, go with what you want.

Actually nymphadora’s wand doesn’t look like an orchid it actually resembles a yellow pitcher plant also a yellow trumpet plant also a purple pitcher plant as well as a pitcher plant

Woah so many! Wanda are really expensive to buy so I tried to make my own with chopsticks and a hot glue gun. Made two so far and planning on making more of possible!
That's great! Everyone loves a magical DIY. I used to use a chopstick before I bought any wands - but that was many years ago.
FUN FACT: If you sort of put Fred and George's wand together it makes a broomstick.

They are really rare. I believe a few were made, but very expensive and difficult to acquire now.
I'm 13 and have been building a wand collection since I'm a kid it's a lot harder right now I have Harry's wand and Snape's wand and I'm wondering what wand to ask for as a gift for Christmas I was thinking Death Eater swirl wand or Death Eater thorn wand or Sirius Black's wand p.s. great video :D

Jon Knights oh wow, those are amazing wands! Regarding your next purchase, I went for wands with a little more detail, so I would probably opt for Slughorn’s and Narcissa’s (not that Skender or Bellatrix’s isn’t great though). I just like the more complex wands 🤓

Collecting wands is definitely a gradual thing. If you wish you collect more - take your time and purchase within your budget 👍

Well collecting is definitely a gradual thing - so don't feel pressurised into having to buy merchandise to make content. You can be a fan and make content, without having to spend lots of money on merchandise 👍

Harry's wand was my first and then it all snowballed from there. It's certainly a gradual process, which I have been building up for many many years

I actually only have Snape's, so I don't think I can be much help. I will get them all eventually, but I would go with which one you are more drawn to.

Minalima do not sell them sadly. I was actually purchased it as a gift, so sadly I do not know where it came from. I have looked online, as other people have asked, but I have been unable to locate one. Sorry about that 😬
