Posiva’s groundbreaking work in final disposal has now progressed to the Trial Run phase

During Trial Run phase, the equipment and systems of the final disposal facility are used together for the first time according to the designed processes. It is essentially a dress rehearsal for the actual final disposal.

Posivan uraauurtava työ loppusijoituksessa on edennyt jo koekäyttövaiheeseen. Siinä loppusijoituslaitoksen laitteita ja järjestelmiä käytetään ensimmäistä kertaa yhdessä suunniteltujen prosessien mukaisesti. Kyseessä on siis eräänlainen kenraaliharjoitus varsinaiseen loppusijoittamiseen.
