Yes this was done mainly with straight ahead animation. I did remember using storyboards for this particular project, but I don't remember it entirely since it has been a long while since this was uploaded. I wouldn't really get a grasp on pose to pose animation untill a couple of years after I made this.
I am guessing this was animated using straight-ahead and not pose-to-pose?
