I had a 2000 escalade that had the same issue. What it's doing is cutting power to the fuel pump. Replace the module or get the bypass system and it'll be good as new.
Factory alarm but not the aftermarket unit, it’s usually key detection issues from the factory. aftermarket alarms cut switch power to starter allowing it to not crank to begin with
