I’ve never seen a cat like her, she’ll never run off because Deans her “home”. When you finally get home she won’t know why you’re not moving from place to place. Such a good companion.

Yup, that's what I thought a while ago. Cats are very territorial but Dean and the bike are her 'territory. I've seen videos of other cats that travel in various ways e.g. at least two truckers that, like Dean, have found strays dumped in the middle of nowhere that they've taken with them. It makes me think that maybe after food accessibility, the most important thing about a cat's territory is security, somewhere they feel safe.
Nala will be like" OH, he DOES have a home! So were we LOST all that time??" lol
I have a cat just like her. He loves travelling too.
She will have serious separation anxiety though. If he ever leaves her for prolonged periods, she'll turn his house into a mess.
I love how Dean says “Oh, sorry” to Nalaand kisses her after a little bump as they’re walking into camp for the night 💕💕. A true love and Dad.
I love when people are kind and welcoming to them.

This is what some of the best parts of travelling is all about! Making friends and going off plans! And it never ceases to amaze me how Nala takes it all in! What a great little travel companion- always up for the next adventure!
That's the "east" Europe, I'm guessing wel see less kindness the further west they travel

Nala is quick to make new friends. Whether it's people, dogs, or other cats. Little bit of initial conflict with the other cat, as cats do, and then everything is good with the other one.
Nala dashes up the stairs and frolics on the rafters, but then cats are champions of play! And you have little choice but to follow....indulging in a wonderful bottle of gin, homemade crepes, and delightful company.
No wonder he was tired the next day.

You should spend longer in Belgrade and Serbia. Very few places have such rich, varied and fascinating history and lots of funky places to eat and drink (not to mention the stunning inhabitants)!

I just love it every time you have left Nala so you can go drag the bike up five flights of stairs that when you go in you say 'hello' and Nala replies! She misses you even if you are gone for 5 mins! Lovely video, once more, Dean! Thank you both for sharing your adventures with us! 🐾❤️🐾

also I used to live in a house with rafters like that and both my cats loved them, especially the one which went right past the chimney for the wood stove. on cold days you’d look up and see eight tiny paws dangling off the rafter as they basked in the warmth from the chimney.
The Serbs are very hospitable people, the last time I was there I got 'sewn up' with some locals on a floating restaurant on the Danube & woke up the next morning in my hotel room not knowing how I got there! No wonder you were tired Dean after having gin for breakfast and then biking to Belgrade...

It's always good when somebody invites you back to their place for a meal. It happened to me in Berlin last year when I asked this elderly couple for directions. They treated me as if I were one of the family and we've kept in touch by email.

Lee Squirrel . As Boxy said , depends . One can never lose (in my opinion) by behaving well to others , but it is not a transaction that brings immediate positive results . Sometimes the only result you get to understand is self respect , but you never know what goes on behind the scenes in this world . Things like karma , or treasures stored in heaven are great , but not contributing to negativity or lifting others spirits is good too .
