Great shooting! Just got a similar idea for a Halloween themed shooting for fun with my GF, so seeing this in action really helped with the inspiration. Thanks Brian. A few years back we ran a workshop called "The faded circus" for which we made a whole bunch of not very good circus props. Some of them we re-used here but others, like the marionette strings, were all Sam's handy work!

My brother has a toy accordian he plays constantly. Its short buttons on the top end and bottom so he hums the missing notes which is really fun. Then, add in the low-volume howls coming out of his foxhound -he really hates it - and life is great.

Hi Ashley. That's my Lenovo Miix Tablet PC (a laptop with a removable type cover) it's long since discontinued but the modern alternative would be a Surface Pro.
Hi Tom. The one smoke machine I'd recommend (and I've tried loads) is the one I use here. It's a Chauvet DJ Hurricane 1200. Link is in the video description BTW 😉
How do you do the thing with the little screen which shows the pictures as you take them? I don't know, I just can't think of the word to put into google.
Gavin - what device were you tethered to? I saw it briefly when the bracket was squeaking on the stand, but didn't cacth the type of pad/notebook/Surface/thing - can you comment? Also, what would you recommend based on experience? I'm considering and MS Surface.
Hi Lucas. That's my Lenovo Miix convertible laptop. It's basically a Surface Pro but a lot less "pro". Tablet PC's are great but they're not for everyone. I also have ultralight laptop for when I need something with a bit more power.
Hi Peter. Sophie is an amazing make-up artist with a portfolio that includes Hollywood blockbusters! What you see at 0:51 is exactly how she arrived at the studio! The new studio is smaller but less crammed full of gear (so looks bigger) and is lovely!
