My brother has a toy accordian he plays constantly. Its short buttons on the top end and bottom so he hums the missing notes which is really fun. Then, add in the low-volume howls coming out of his foxhound -he really hates it - and life is great.

Great shooting! Just got a similar idea for a Halloween themed shooting for fun with my GF, so seeing this in action really helped with the inspiration. Also, I must say that Sophie is an absolute gift! Such a great feel for the theme and a wonderful presentation and expressions. Great job all of you :)
Thanks Brian. A few years back we ran a workshop called "The faded circus" for which we made a whole bunch of not very good circus props. Some of them we re-used here but others, like the marionette strings, were all Sam's handy work!

Brilliant! What if we increased the distance between the model and the background (and used a wider aperture a bit) to make it blurry and out of focus a bit?
Absolutely fantastic but one thing just bothers me. That accordion is upside down. Keys should be played with right hand and cords with left. If you don’t get why it bothers me, imagine holding the guitar upside down. Resonance box held with left hand up and the neck with right and low.
You have the accordion backwards. The keys are played with the right hand and the buttons are played with the left hand. Perhaps you were going for something a bit crazy. I really liked the shoot, model, and the pics.
