I just finished building ICAN P9 frame now I can't wait to ride it but it have been way too cold here in United States Pennsylvania. I am very impressed with the quality of the frame to me it looks very similar to a Transition Sentinel frame.
I have a P9. Best thing you can do for the bike is a Slack-R insert for the head tube that slackens the geometry about a degree and a half. Total game changer to the better for the bike.
Such a cool build. North Shore Vancouver - never get tired of seeing riding vids from here . Do you think in the long run this is a much cheaper option than buying a branded built bike? These frames are about $1100 CAD but your components would still add up to a +$4000 bike I would assume?
How's the frame holding up? I'm really not confident with carbon but by the looks of your riding, it seems pretty good. Would love to hear more on the quality of the frame
Great question. I’m hoping to have a more long term review video up soon. I’ve put about 50km of trail riding on the frame so far. Again no issues with creaks or anything. I’ve been riding the frames for years at bike parks and all and it’s been amazing.
i am thinking buying this frame, i practice enduro. I weight 200 lbs, i measure 1.70 meters, do you recommend this frame , do you think it support the loads for this type of use?
I have a couple of friends similar height and weight who ride the P9 enduro frame. I’ve had no issue the past 3 years with these frame and are super tough, durable and low maintenance. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. You can also use promo code Crown Performance for a discount.
@@CrownPerformance I will be able to buy the painting just in September, could I write to you then so that you can help me with the discount? ... Does another thing do international shipping?
P9 climbs like any other enduro bike. It also depends on your rear shock set up and if you have a lock out switch. There will always be some "pedal bob" but my focus has always been how it handles on the decents, which is amazing. And no plans to but the P1, even tho it looks like a very capable machine.
I have this frame also and I run 175mm cranks and the amount of pedal strikes and cranks strikes that happen, it’s a lot. I would recommend 165mm or even 170mm cranks

Frame looks identical to an Evolve Alpha, too

How does the P9 climb? I live in Korea, there are some serious climbs here. Fortunately, I'm rewarded with epic decents.
You deserve more subs

yes, its around a $4k build. I just get the satistaction of picking all my parts. But a carbon build with this spec would rund $5-6K at least!

hows the pedal bob?
Thanks for the review. Did you have any issues with pivot bolts backing out? I read there were some of those problems plaguing this frame.
Hi, what fame size are you using? And what’s your height? I am around 170cm, with shoes 173cm. Should medium frame fits me perfectly? Thanks!

How’s it holding up?

This bike was around $4200 CAD
@@CrownPerformance hope you can make a video and share to us how to build it
Hi friend, I'm thinking of buying the same frame, is it really good?
It’s a really great frame. I’ve been super happy with how it rides and have had no issues. Bearings are great and no need to service yet.
Would you say this is your favorite frame out of the three?
Its actually the same frame as my last two builds. This one just had a nice shiny color and a longer stroke shock. But yet, its my favorite to date.
2 degree angle headset with this frame.
Will you be getting a p1? How does the p9 climb?

what size of crankset can you fit in the frame without having spacing issues?
