Angus has stated in several interviews that there were many times he felt discouraged and inadequate to his brother Malcom. Malcom would always encourage his brother to keep going and reminded him how gifted he was. Malcom did a lot behind the scenes and Angus shined in the spotlight. You can tell they really had a close bond and always supported each other. You know Angus was telling the truth about Malcom at 4:44 when again Malcom speaks highly of his brother and says very encouraging words. Very cool and also very sad. RIP Malcom. Absolute legend!
I think it’s cool how close they are and were. Mal was and will always be a true icon and definitely a genius. We have him and Angus both to thank for the legacy of AC/DC.
When Malcolm passed away and I saw Angus walk out of the Cathedral with his brothers guitar. I have never seen a man so full of anguish as I saw on Angus' face on that day. It filled me with a sympathy for another human I rarely ever have for people outside my family. It broke my heart, and interviews like this hammer home the closeness these guy have and had and why it hurt so bad when Malcolm left.
I love this Band with all my heart. They have the best live shows and in my opinion they are the greatest Rock'n'Roll Band on the Planet and still they’re members are all so humble. Especially Mal (Rock in Peace) being without a doubt the greatest Rhythm Guitar play that ever walked this earth still being so humble is really an example for anyone in any profession.
The same with Angus As he admits That HE DIDNT JUST JOIN ACDC FOR THE HELL OF IT but as he said He only JOINED ACDC because he wanted to play his guitar 🎸 But on the other hand I think the band Has some real rocking Spirit In a general play in the book it’s because of mal and angus That ACDC stands strong 💪 today as it is this year
Well Really 1991 For me Or even Better 1990 one of my Two favorite songs in close to the same time frame Thunderstruck and For Those About To Rock We Salute 🫡 You
The thing I love about AC/DC is that they make me feel like I've been friends with them for years, even though I haven't met them. I feel like I'm having a conversation with them when I watch stuff like interviews even though I've never been able to say anything to them. They always puts a smile on my face and make me happy, ever since I first got into AC/DC before I could walk. thank you AC/DC. You've inspired me as a 17 year old to pick up my guitar, microphone, drums and bass and give it my best shot to make more rock n roll in the world.
I didn't join a band to be famous. I joined a band to play my guitar! WoW and so good at that you are! So Modest Angus is. I never tire of watching him....! I gotta work early and here I am up running thru videos...!
POWER UP is a fantastic album and a fitting tribute to Malcolm.. I watched 60 Minutes Australia with AC/DC and seeing Angus get all choked up talking about Malcolm and Brian could not even face the Camera.... Brought tears to my eyes.
I'm 17 years old and I love this band and I want to go to a concert before I graduate high school so I'm crossing my fingers if they tour in 2022 and my parents let me go to see them.
Ever since I first heard TNT on the radio in 75 at the age of 7 I've treasured AC/DC & their music. They were & are Satisfaction Guaranteed. Nearly 40yrs later I love em for a bunch of reasons other than the music alone. The fact that their "product" has trans-generational appeal & will likely always have a market puts them in the ballpark of companies like Coca Cola. You gotta love a band of egoless, dirty troubadours who managed to pull that off! And they still do it for the love of it.
That's the same song that got me into them. Went out and bought all their albums and then Bon died and I thought "they are done". Then back in black propelled them to a whole new level, where everyone knew who they were and proved me wrong thank God. It was like the Barbara Mandrel song "I was country when country wasn't cool". For me I was an ACDC fan when most of my friends didn't even know who they were.
AC/DC doesn't really need all the fireworks, cannons, flashing lights, etc.. Their style of rock music along with the expertise they have in executing it is all they really need. After all as others have said in countless comments, and critiques---they are Rock n' Roll Gods.
Ever notice how the most humble down to earth artists are the most talented. These guys prove that - no arrogance at all (even though they could be) I saw them live at Madison Square Garden......and I saw Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams play a small club in Poughkeepsie (The Chance) for a Christmas charity show (only 900 people.......i was standing ten feet from them and they played AC DC songs all night - best show of my life) These guys are the best of the best - RIP Malcolm and Bon Scott before him. They will be known and be relevant 100 years from now.
Angus is a legend cause he gets the crowd involved he goes right up there amongst the crowd, not like a lot of these guitarists these days who just stand there and think, hey don't i look cool, maybe if they had the passion and energy and the love of playing like Angus instead of worrying about a corporate look. You don't see two foot hairdoos, jeans so tight you can see the veins in their legs, none of this pretty boy look with bling bling. Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi. I'm just a Brisbane boy

All the AC/DC guys seem so sensible and down to the music. Especially Phil Rudd with his glasses...years after he looks like a monster or a 90 year old man.
R.I.P. BON
R.I.P. GEORGE
R.I.P. MALCOLM

Old Dog City Pound amen! I feel like they would be very proud of AC/DC today. That they are continuing !

English grammar correction: ACϟDC rocks ass!
AC/DC is the best band ever! They made rock n roll a drug, I never spend a day without listening to 'em. Great job, guys, keep on rockin'!
Out of all the band's since rocks inception, they would be the only ones that 80% are 20 or less yos
If the world is still around in a million years they will still be playing ACDC!!
These guys were so great but so humble that’s what makes them so great so down to earth they didn’t forget where they came from
Angus has stated in several interviews that there were many times he felt discouraged and inadequate to his brother Malcom. Wow. Brotherly love. RIP Mal.
I think it’s cool how close they are and were. Mal was and will always be a true icon and definitely a genius. We have him and Angus both to thank for the legacy of AC/DC.
The respect and love the young brothers had for each other is beautiful ❤️
R.I.P MALCOM !!!😢
When Malcolm passed away and I saw Angus walk out of the Cathedral with his brothers guitar. I have never seen a man so full of anguish as I saw on Angus' face on that day. Well said. Malcolm was so strong for him, just like in this video. Of course Angus is a rough fella too.
I hear ya. Guys like Angus and Alex Van Halen must feel absolutely heartbroken without their bros there.
You can say that again! ❤
Me too. Since 1980.
The same with Angus As he admits That HE DIDNT JUST JOIN ACDC FOR THE HELL OF IT but as he said He only JOINED ACDC because he wanted to play his guitar 🎸 But on the other hand I think the band Has some real rocking Spirit In a general play in the book it’s because of mal and angus That ACDC stands strong 💪 today as it is this year
Well Really 1991 For me Or even Better 1990 one of my Two favorite songs in close to the same time frame
Thunderstruck and For Those About To Rock We Salute 🫡 You
So I have too agree they stay cooking for 2 Hours and THATS one hell of a show Just saying
And that’s the best part about it is the fact that they pretty much made rock in roll what it is today
The thing I love about AC/DC is that they make me feel like I've been friends with them for years, even though I haven't met them. I feel like I'm having a conversation with them when I watch stuff like interviews even though I've never been able to say anything to them. I can't think of another band that worked their asses off more than DC. They deserve all of their success.
Amen bro. They put it all out there every damn time
😎🤘
thank you ac/dc for all your contributions to mankind and great music!!!!!!
Потрясающий , ни с кем не сравнимый рок ,который хочется слушать снова и снова! Молодцы черти! Дай бог им долгих лет жизни и здоровья.
Not to many bands can keep up with AC-DC, at least not live. Miss you Malcolm Young R.I.P. The greatest rhythm guitarist. ever lived.
Miss you Malcolm. My hero. RIP brother
Yup... mine too bro
I didn't join a band to be famous. I joined a band to play my guitar! WoW and so good at that you are! So Modest Angus is. I never tire of watching him....! I gotta work early and here I am up running thru videos...!
angus looks so little without his guitar :D
You phrased the statement wrong. What you meant to write is - "The guitar makes Angus larger than life, but without it, he is so down to Earth."
Yeah......ANGUS LOOKS SO LITTLE WITH HIS GUITAR.............
BUT WITH THE BIGGEST BALLS OF EM ALL
Yeah he does
Without a guitar he’s a mortal but wielding Gibson SG he’s a God
When they were born, lead water pipes were used in Glasgow. It stunted their growth. A lot of people were affected by it.
''I still to this day, i'm still learnin'', that explains the school uniform.
those are important words he said there
The fact that he think like that proove he's a genius
These guys really are the essence of Rock N'Roll, they are what they have been for so long for their lyrics and cool chords.
My favorite Rock 'N' Roll band ever.
I agree ❤ ACDC
It's amazing they make simple but still memorable and not overly complex songs that are easy to remember. Ac Dc is the Beatles of hard rock.
well said✔✔
Very true
Love these guys man. They’ve been an important and inspirational part of my life for the last forty five years or so.
Rock in peace Malcolm. You will be missed.
POWER UP is a fantastic album and a fitting tribute to Malcolm.. I watched 60 Minutes Australia with AC/DC and seeing Angus get all choked up talking about Malcolm and Brian could not even face the Camera.... Brought tears to my eyes.
When you in Brazil, I was there and I love every second.
AC DC ARE THE BEST
I'm 17 years old and I love this band and I want to go to a concert before I graduate high school so I'm crossing my fingers if they tour in 2022 and my parents let me go to see them.
Never missed an acdc show whenever they came around, and never once did they let me down. They over delivered.
I love this band they are awesome and very nice and down to earth.
Love them! they are really in sync with each other
“I don’t know where I am most of the time” That was some grim foreshadowing knowing his fate . RIP Malcom!!
Growing up with this band, I’ll love them forever. They will live forever through their music!💕
WE MISS YOU, MALCOLM!!!
I love Malcom’s voice. It’s so warm and endearing.

For Those About To Rock is legendary because of these......it's like icing on the cake

Это легенда таких больше небудет.это как Майк тайсон в боксе.
Among the best groups of Always Malcom. You will always remain in our hearts
No wonder musicians can never retire. The addiction is worse than anything else.
You don’t retire when you love what you do. Retirement is for people that hate what they do.
man i have ac-dc in my retirement from welding/ IRONWORKER near 20yrs I'll b 95 ina rocking chair and ready to draw fist ,feet or pistols, THAT. AC-DC greatest band of ALL TIME!

If you like to se bands that always delivers great hard rock, AC-DC, is one of the great bands. Have seen them several times and so far they have not made me disappointed. Look at Malcolm Young in this video. How cool he is. Miss you Malcolm, R.I.P.

He said "I´m still learning" (play guitar)? Oh man, you are a god in hellheaven!
It's good to see Brian back.
This video was from 2000/2001. I'm assuming you mean it's good to see him back today (in the present)?
Best damn band ever ever ever!!!
True
Also best live band bar none! The show and musicianship/tightness driving force of AC/DC is unparalleled.
Great band! One of a kind! I miss Bon and Malcolm///
What the hell wanna learn more about guitar Angus?you are already a God of guitar already bro:)
Because he's learned all, if there was more to it ( even though there aint because he can play it like a fucking beast ) he'd want to know about it.

Biggest rock band in the world so humble
They really put on a great show
All the AC/DC guys seem so sensible and down to the music. Especially Phil Rudd with his glasses...years after he looks like a monster or a 90 year old man.
Excellent job guys!!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Angus never learned to drive and doesn't have a driver's license.
Das teilt er mit Lennon ;)
But he could play eletric fuckin guitar
He doesn’t need a license he can afford to pay someone to drive him around!
this goes to show you your never to old to rock and roll
