    what is the white stuff your painting on at the end and whats it for?

      He is filling the engravings with white enamel paint so the lettering is easier to read. You can squeegee the extra off the top and clean it up later with non-acetone nail polish remover. I usually use the tip of a toothpick or wooden skewers to dab it into the grooves for less waste to clean up later. Enamel paint shrinks as it dries first hour and fills in the engraving evenly if you don't put too much on. Sometimes it takes a couple coats. Same trick works with guns but remember non-acetone or it'll ruin the finish and melt some plastics.

      This was a Glowforge Plus, which worked well for 3 years. We have since upgrade to a Glowforge Pro that has the pass through slot.
