My only issues with the use of potions is how you obtain them. Sure, you could get extra blaze rods for them, but the amount of time it takes as well as the risk of dying outweighs the time spent in there. Potions are not always the best option, and there are plenty of other things they could use, such as hay bales, which are more likely to be placed than water
@@MCshadr217 In hardcore, safety is number one... even if you are about to die a dumb death you must eat enchanted golden apple just to survive. I don't think the risk of dying for fire resistance or slow falling is high, you don't need too many blaze rods though, a few is enough... And you can find magma cube in basalt deltas easily. And then for slow falling, just don't sleep until you get them. Slow falling would be valuable in dragon fight. The key is to not get cornered

Most of these are preventable with a simple shield. It was added into the game for a reason. Things are also preventable by having a simple understanding about the game. There are other difficulties that aren’t hardcore.
1. Fire Resistance Potion 2. Ender Pearl 3. Blast Protection Armor 4. MLG Hay-bale/Water Bucket (Or just stop moving when looking somewhere else) 5. Blast Protection Armor and Fire Protection + Water Bucket 6. Mine into the wall and block yourself in also I shield would be helpful 7. Should’ve placed a blockade so that there was a one by one hole 8. Fire Resistance Potion + Shield + be more aware of your surroundings 9. So many hardcore deaths could be easily avoided if you just avoided the extremely deadly caves. Above ground ravines are cool during the day, underground ravines should have as little time spent in them as possible, mineshafts to be avoided unless you really don't mind gambling your life
Yo. If you're playing hardcore: stay away from ravines. Always have an escape route. Immediately go for full iron armor. Keep your hunger bar always full. Bring cats when you go mining. Always use blast prot on one piece of armor, the rest should have prot 4. Use your shield, you should enchant it with unbreaking 3 and mending, so that it will never ever break in combat. Use a water bucket, it can save you from falls and it can also push mobs back if you're cornered. Go for feather falling 4 as soon as you can. Always have ender pearls in your hotbar, always have gold apples as well, always have building blocks at hand. Chorus fruits can be clutch in the nether. If you get ambushed by a creeper, DO NOT MOVE: you risk going closer to it; just raise your shield, jump and turn around. It's gonna be fine. One last thing: name your sword "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD"; this one is mandatory.

So many hardcore deaths could be easily avoided if you just avoided the extremely deadly caves. Above ground ravines are cool during the day, underground ravines should have as little time spent in them as possible, mineshafts to be avoided unless you really don't mind gambling your life

Yo. If you're playing hardcore: stay away from ravines. Always have an escape route. Immediately go for full iron armor. Keep your hunger bar always full. Bring cats when you go mining. Always use blast prot on one piece of armor, the rest should have prot 4. Use your shield, you should enchant it with unbreaking 3 and mending, so that it will never ever break in combat. Use a water bucket, it can save you from falls and it can also push mobs back if you're cornered. Go for feather falling 4 as soon as you can. Always have ender pearls in your hotbar, always have gold apples as well, always have building blocks at hand. Chorus fruits can be clutch in the nether. If you get ambushed by a creeper, DO NOT MOVE: you risk going closer to it; just raise your shield, jump and turn around. It's gonna be fine. One last thing: name your sword "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD"; this one is mandatory.
