What do you do if the day of there is suddenly a chance of thunderstorms?
I typically leave it up to my client in these scenarios! I reach out with a text or email that says something like:
"I have been keeping my eyes on the forecast and unfortunately, it looks like a chance of storms has popped up at the last second. I am happy to move forward with today's shoot and bring along some cute umbrellas, or we can reschedule to a sunnier day - whichever you prefer!"
I typically offer to hop on a call to chat through it with them, too!
@@HopeTaylor even when there's lightning and severe weather?....
@@gettysburgmaam8437 severe weather is the only exception where I don’t give my clients the option and we reschedule to my next available date as long as the chance of storms is 50% chance or greater (i.e. I don’t insist on a reschedule for 30% chance of storms)
What lense do you use/recommend? I do hobby shooting and I want to try to take senior photos for friends to make a little money going into my senior year.
Hope generally uses the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2! Sometimes interchanging her Canon EF 85mm f/1.2!
@TyMcNary2 is exactly right! A great starter lens is the 50mm 1.8. I started photography at your exact age - so excited for you!
