Ohh, 2009, sweet melancholy... Last year when both Serena and Venus were at such a high level...Dementieva playing great tennis, being so close to win a major yet so far... Kuznetsova playing brilliantly on clay, Safina holding world no. 1 for almost the entire year yet she failed to deliver in the AO and RG finals, Sharapova coming back from shoulder surgery and Kim's magical comeback at the UsOpen... That was a great year

I hate commentators😒...why, every single match is it necessary to mention their hometown? Gunshots and such... like nothing else happened in between...they moved to florida pretty early on.🤦🏽♀️
During 2008 and 2009 their handshakes were colder. They were truly competitive with each other. I remember Venus was really hungry during these years and she wanted these big titles badly. After 2010, her diagnosed health problems, loss of speed and game, and Serena starting to pile trophies, competitiveness between them was over because even Venus admitted that Serena was superior.
That is very rude thing to say about the best two players ever in history. How come you never say such negative things about the white players who are also very powerful????
