For those curious. This is in West Yellowstone. It can be quite the tourist trap in the summer as it is a main entrance to Yellowstone park. Winter time has tons of activity if you are willing and somewhat brave, its not unheard of to get stuck in the town because of snow fall.

    • @mridaho7871

I rented a cabin that was around 9500ft and it took us all about 2 days to feel like we could walk around normally without getting out of breath. After a week we were good to go but it is a shock initially if you are like me and come from about 10ft above sea level to nearly 10k there is defintely and adjustment period

That looks like an awesome trip. I think I’ll have to add that as a future adventure. Did you completely plan your own trails, or stick with a larger group/guide?

Looks like you guys had a good time here. Our place is 100 miles north from there. A slice of heaven. The cold keeps most people away, except everyone and their brother is rolling through here in the summer. Cheers from Montana

It's been one weird winter in NY this year. Only a few big snowstorms and none of the snow stayed around. I'm in the Adirondack area and there's barely any snow on the ground now.
