Cascade Canyon to Lake Solitude

This July we got to hike in Grand Teton National Park at the amazing Cascade Canyon up to Lake Solitude! At just over 15 miles and 2,400ft elevation gain, it was a tough day. This took us about 10 hours, taking breaks.
We started hiking in the rain under clouds, and were so thankful that we didn’t have the sun on us the entire time. We ran into a black bear, moose, marmots, and some pika. This is a must do for Grand Teton if you’re looking for a big but attainable hike.
