यंदाच्या अर्थसंकल्पात शेती, एमएसएमई, गुंतवणूक आणि निर्यात ही अर्थव्यवस्थेची चार इंजिने असल्याची थीम मांडण्यात आली. त्यातले पहिले इंजिन शेती असल्याचा गौरव करत अर्थसंकल्पीय तरतुदी प्रस्तावित करताना नेहमीप्रमाणे पहिला मान शेतीला देण्यात आला. या मानपानाचे कौतुक ओसरले की शेती क्षेत्रासाठी अत्यंत तुटपुंज्या तरतुदी केल्याचे वास्तव समोर येते.
This year's budget presented the theme that agriculture, MSME, investment and exports are the four engines of the economy. While proposing budgetary provisions, the first priority was given to agriculture, praising the first engine among them. Once the appreciation for this priority fades, the reality of very meager provisions made for the agriculture sector comes to light.
