    A FEW SUGGESTIONS … Thanks for doing this great video. It was short and sweet, helpful and very professional. The narrator was perfect. He’s a real pleasant, nice looking, young guy with an interesting accent and was easy to understand. I think you should have a close-up of him while he introduces himself and the company right at the beginning of the video. Here’s why… I didn’t realize until the end of the video that you guys are actually in the business. In sales, first you buy the salesman, then you buy the product. Your narrator makes such a great impression that anyone who’s looking to get a video made would likely choose your company simply based on him. He’s just the kind of guy you’d want to do business with or invite over for a BBQ (barbie). 👍
    The samples of the explainer videos are so full of visual effects that I think the rest of your video should be kept as simple as possible. Specifically, no moving graphics, changing colours or the little ‘swoosh’ sound. Watching the seven samples is a almost exhausting on the senses. By keeping the rest of the video simple, it gives the viewer a chance to relax and listen to the narrator. It also clearly separates the samples from the narrator’s message. Too many moving graphics and sounds turn the whole video into a bit of a blurrrrrrrr. 😵‍💫
    Something else that was very distracting was the huge word Spiel on his shirt. Every time I saw it, I kept wondering what it meant. Was it a reference to Steven Spielberg, the master movie maker? Was it the German word for game or was it a connection to giving a sales spiel in an explainer video? I didn’t figure it out until the very end of the video. Right up to that point, I thought this was just a random information video that someone did as a public service. Ironically, you’re in the explainer video business but you didn’t explain your own company in the video. Oops! 😬
    I later went to your website and you guys are amazing! Spend 15 seconds at the beginning of your video and then a minute at the end really highlighting your company, your production team and your very impressive list of customers. He did say… “Be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell” but I think the really important message is… “Spiel Creative: We make explainer videos that will super charge your business!” While the narrator is saying that, have it displayed in a graphic with your website and phone number so the viewer can do a screenshot of it and contact you later. Always, always make it easy for your customer. ✅
    I also think it’d better to have the narrator much closer to the camera. Too much empty space is also distracting. I couldn’t really see his face but I could see that huge word Spiel on his shirt. One final note; On your website, it’d be nice to have colour pictures of all your staff and make sure they’re smiling. 🙂 Some of them look too serious, especially in black-and-white. Thanks again guys and maybe I’ll use you cuz I am in the market. All the best! Lorne Holman in Calgary Canada 🇨🇦

    Thank you very much - this was helpful and informative! Question.
    Out of the "basic" explainer video platforms (i.e., Vyond, Powtoons, Animaker, etc) is there one of them that you think combines the ability to use all (or most 7 types) of animation styles the best?
    I would like to start creating "basic" explainer videos but don't want to use something more advanced like After Effects (at least for right now).

    • @Spielcreative
      @Spielcreative  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi EJF, being completely honest those platforms are good if you need something quick and cheap but they are limited in style - you won't get one platform that can cover all 7 types as some are complex. These are used more for one-off purposes.
      Personally, if you want to get into creating these videos, you're better starting off on AE and just throwing yourself into the deep end. Using a platform like Powtoons wouldn't better prepare you for AE later down the line - if anything it will limit you.
      You can find some good AE templates to work from if you sign up to sites like Evanto - that might be a good place to start.

    what's a good animation style for health?

    • @Spielcreative
      @Spielcreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Scott, thank you for your comment :) it really depends on what you're looking to achieve and where the video will go. The most common animation styles in healthcare are 3D for medicinal videos, whiteboard for educational and motion graphics for promotional. However, it really does depend on the project and this is just anecdotal based on our experience working with healthcare companies. If you're interested in commissioning a video, feel free to reach out to our agency at spielcreative.com.

    Animation in ted ed videos come into which category?

      Hey, most Ted Ed videos are 2D character animation, although they tend to be less complex and have elements of motion graphics. Hope that helps

    Hi ...which type of video you are creating? Are you using green screen effect to show animation in background

    • @Spielcreative
      @Spielcreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Santanu, thanks for the comment! This style is what we call Piece-to-camera mixed with motion graphics and stock footage. Our presenter is recorded in front of a green screen, where we chromakey a neutral background, add some graphics and text on screen, intercut stock footage and then viola! Hope that helps.
