+Carl Hopkinson +Carl Hopkinson or the stutter around 3:40 but I only know that after enjoying her recording so many times :-D she is comparable to some of the more talented students at Juilliard or Curtis
well no shit lmao. everybody knows the infamous bench switches and zimerman’s ballade no 1, i can’t even imagine how many times he probably re-recorded that ballade no 3, and you’re comparing that to someone who only has one shot to play this at one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world, if not the most
Actually, I don't hear that at all. I'm sitting at my desk with both the HENLE score The Polish national edition side-by-side, and it looks to me at that time that she plays every single note correct. Did you mean some other place? Or can you give a precise timestamp where she makes a mistake? Because I don't see or hear it.
I think that's just your jealousy talking. She makes a lovely sound on the base most of the time As a matter of fact, she makes a lovely sound almost on every beat. Peddling is not excessive. In fact it doesn't obscure the line at all, but rather makes it very clear. If you have a precise timestamp, or a measure in the score that would tell us where you're objecting to, please post that but looking at both the HENLE score and the Polish national edition side-by-side here at my desk, I don't see that she has not observe the correct peddling anywhere.
Achei excelente desempenho...e... pianista...parece um tipo de interpretação que esta cada vez mais rara de se ouvir...pertence a outra década...ou outras décadas... estilo "antigo"...me surpreendeu desde as primeiras notas...
that hair alone deserves a win
She has very beautiful sounds
Secs 21 to 60 are achingly beautiful. Not that the rest is anything short of outstanding.
아름답고 풍성한 울림을 가진 소리 우아한 해석 이 곡만 보면 3라운드에 갔으면 하는
생긴거봐도 우아해보이는데 치는것도 우아하네요^^
Also, she is very beautiful...which is not part of the judging....at least officially.
Agree
pretty privilege has no room in piano
It should be lmao
why is she the female version of dimitry shishkin, both are excellent players
Didn't like abrupt accelerando at 6:12....otherwise, excellent.

Yeah, there were bad mistakes there, which is what I think got her eliminated.
Many mistakes 6.00 - 6.30. Zimerman got this piece best.
Agree, Zimerman's interpretation is my favorite!
Vlog do Gab's You don’t have to play better to give a piece of criticism.
Yes it is definitely a hard part.

Low left hand and uses too much pedal.
