    The new Focus introduces Ford’s next-generation SYNC 4 technology to greater numbers of customers than ever before, enabling cloud-connected navigation and connected voice control with natural language understanding. SYNC 4 is supported by an all-new, largest in segment 2 13.2-inch landscape centre screen with an intuitive interface designed to make it effortless to navigate a comprehensive range of driving and comfort features. The technology also allows Ford Power-Up wireless software updates to improve functionality over time.
    Advanced driver assistance technologies introduced to Focus for the first time include Blind Spot Assist, 3 which monitors the driver’s blind spot for vehicles approaching from behind, and can apply counter-steering to warn the driver and discourage a lane change manoeuvre if a potential collision is detected.
    New Focus also for the first time introduces an automatic transmission option for the fuel-saving EcoBoost Hybrid 48-volt mild hybrid powertrains, offering up to 155 PS. The seven-speed, dual-clutch Powershift automatic makes driving less demanding - particularly in city and stop-start traffic - while complementing the hybrid powertrain’s electrically-boosted performance for typical Focus fun-to-drive.
    The Ford Performance-inspired ST-Line variant’s sportier character is delivered using a uniquely proportioned trapezoidal upper grille, supported by a gloss black honeycomb finish alongside broader side vents and a deeper lower grille. ST-Line variants also feature side skirts, a rear diffuser and a discreet rear spoiler.
    The adventurous Active variant takes inspiration from SUV design cues for a more rugged appearance. A wider upper grille features more substantial vertical strakes, and a deeper lower grille and taller side vents complement the raised ride height and black body cladding.
    Available with 125 PS and 155 PS power outputs, the new Focus’ 48-volt mild hybrid 1.0-litre EcoBoost Hybrid powertrain is also available with a six-speed manual gearbox, with WLTP fuel efficiency from 5.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions from 115 g/km. The hybrid powertrain replaces the standard alternator with a belt-driven integrated starter/generator (BISG), enabling energy normally lost during braking to be recovered and stored in a dedicated lithium-ion battery pack. The BISG is also able to act as a motor, providing torque assistance to either increase the total torque available from the powertrain for more responsive in-gear acceleration, or reduce the amount of work required by the engine for improved fuel efficiency.
    The new Focus also offers Ford’s 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with 100 PS and 125 PS power outputs and a six-speed manual gearbox, and from 5.1 l/100 km fuel efficiency and 116 g/km CO2 WLTP. Features including Twin-independent Variable Cam Timing and high-pressure direct injection contribute to overall efficiency and responsive performance.
    For higher mileage drivers, Ford’s 1.5-litre EcoBlue diesel engine is available with 95 PS and 120 PS power outputs, with fuel efficiency from 4.0 l/100 km and 106 g/km CO2 WLTP. Both versions are offered with a six-speed manual transmission, and feature an integrated intake manifold, low-inertia turbocharger and high-pressure fuel injection to reduce emissions and increase combustion efficiency. An eight-speed automatic transmission is also offered for the 120 PS variant.

    my ford focus 2011 . 182PS still runs. 170'000km .......but i will get the new 2023 155PS now - same color - Frozen White 😂❤ Ford makes cars for a century

    Thank you for the video! I would like to say that I aprecciated that you briefly spoke about the B&O sound system in the estate version of the Focus, it really means a lot for someone that aprecciates a good sound system! I said this in another video, but perhaps if you want to, you could demonstrate the quality of the system by playing a copyright free song or two, that would be really awesome! Also generally thank you for your great content!

      it is a must in a focus. The difference is huge for just 300€ compared to the standard system

    Only hope with the newest models, theyve fixed the issues with the 1.0's timing belts failing and the paint issues being too thin rubbing through on the seems and from stone chips etc.

    The turning radius of 11 m is with the 17" rims, if orderded with 18" the turning radius will be bigger due to limiting the maximum steering angle of the front wheels! I have the factorywise 18" rims and the turning circle is as big as an oil tanker....Before this Focus I did have a 308 GT 1.6 THP 205, that car had a much smaller turning circle. Still, after more than two years owning the 1.5 182 ps ST line I love the car very much, normally after two years I trade in a car but this one has to stay longer (especially since the 1,5 is no longer in the program in the Netherlands and other countries?).

    Great cars.Only down side is those seats are not as comfortable as the previous generation Mach 3.If they put in good seats they would many more units.

    Hello, did you have a new focus with a diesel engine in the test, I didn't manage to watch all your clips until the end, and if you didn't when the test is expected, I'm interested because I don't see any purpose in these small turbo petrols in particular three-cylinder, and as for fuel consumption and other performances, thank you in advance for fhe answer, and greetings from Serbia.

      Diesels get the rotary automatic (8 speed torque converter gearbox). The 1.0 mild hybrid versions get the stick shift gear selector (7-Speed DCT gearbox)

    Hey i'm sorry but you are wrong. Multilink rear suspension is only on WAGONS. No hatchback except the st 280hp has it.

    Leaning the seat like that (passenger), but guessing it is very contagious, will get you really hurt or killed in a front impact accident.
    Possible broken arm(s) too (too straight/extended, research your safety a bit better).

    Wonder why they went back to the old fashion looking gear stick for the automatic make the car look dated, the round wheel is way more stylish & better looking. Also less high making it fit better in the car.

      The 1.6 Automatic Diesel has the rotary dial gearshift. I personally like the old school gear shift stick as I like to rest my hand on it when I drive.

    Итак, этот фокус имеет 1 литр и 3 цилиндра, 10 секунд до 100, 125 лошадей и 7ступенчатый павершифт
    Итог: мотору будет пизда, павершифт, зная его надежность, отьебнет
    по сути по динамике это 3 фокус в рашке, но с еще хуже внутрянкой.... А это еще и версия ст))))
    Надеюсь, что я не прав, что этот фокус будет надежным с павершифтом
