The ar47's were aftermarket lowers for m4's used by the us military. They were made to take the ammo and mags from captured ak's. but the oppositons were running bad quality and cheap ammo through there ak's. so when it was fired from the ar47, it jammed and was really unreliable. so the project was stopped. Later on, companies revived the name, and remade this hybrid, for public use.
Hiya. If you want magnification then I would suggest 4x at the most (as anymore can see way way further than this can shoot) something like an acog or eotech with magnifier are excellent and will look cool. Or just pick the type of red dot you like and pop it on top! Hope that helps! Pheas
Great video, I used to have a Bolt BR47, it was a great gun but an absolute bitch to get mags for almost nothing fit and when I finally found something that did I ended up ripping the mag catch out on a mag change. What are these like for mags, will they take any CYMA ones?

I am just reviewing back the disassembly video (not yet released) and just looking at the lower and upper, it looks very much like an AR upper but some of the detailing are enlarged as it supposedly takes a larger round (in the real one) go its giving of vibes of not compatible, I think its probably a no as the mag well looks to extend out further than a standard AR magwell, so I assume that the upper will have been extended slightly to accommodate it. I know... I will just release the disassembly video for you today (12pm UK time) and then you can take a look yourself and see what you think! Hope that helps! Pheas
I'm getting feeding issues with the mag it came with. I made sure the hi cap mag was max wound and still had feeding issues. My first AK type gun, my others are M4s and grenade launchers. But, my first AK, feeding issues are like every 4th bb it doesn't feed then double shoots.
Hiya, sorry to hear you are having feeding isshes. It might not be your mag, but if you can borrow someone else's ak mag to try that out then it would be worth it. It could be debris in the feeding tube go the hop, or maybe a hop rubber issue. Give the mag a try and let me know how you get on. Pheas
I believe a fair amount was made for Yemen and a few other african and middle eastern countries looking to modernise but retain inventory of ammo and mags

The actual real steal one was designed as a way to lighten up the front end by reducing the weight of it (all those rails weigh alot) it then meant that accessories could be mounted to the system directly with an M-lok attachment or you could mount a section of rail and then mount to that. So allowed for keeping weight down but with all the options available to you for adding on. In terms of airsoft the weight thing isnt really an issue, but I do like the asthetics of the m-lok system, as do a lot of people and that seems to be more what it is about now. I would expect there "could" be feeding issues with the odd feed tube from the mag to the hop unit, but certainly should run happily on an 11.1v. Hiya, I have just stripped this down for a video for the channel. The hop unit is unique and can't see anywhere to get it online. the uppers are not compatible as this one is longer upper and lower receiver than the 506 or any other ar varient. You might be able to swap uppers with an sr-25 varient as they are similar. But can't guarantee this. Hope that helps. Pheas

Have you heard of the ARAK? It's the real steel AK that takes AR mags. There's also a Airsoft version from "Nuprol" on Gunfire. Pretty neat but I've heard that the build quality is pretty bad.

Hello! they are just normal airsoft AK mags in a type of your choosing. It wont work with a drum mag though as the part to go into the mag well isnt long enough on a drum mag. Pheas

If you got the platinum one, that would be the MOSFET. I'm not certain, but I think you need to program the MOSFET. Don't take my word though, bring it to a local tech.

Yah dont use a 11.1 lipo
11.1's are really only supposed to be used in guns with a MOSFET. Don't use an 11.1, instead, a 9.6 or 8.4 will do just fine.
