i’m a new player to any arpg , i went with the monk, im currently on T9 maps but find myself not having enough dps to freeze and burst all magic mobs as i die pretty fast (lvl 78 invol monk) 74 in all res expect chaos , is it 100% nessisary to do the immune to chaos in the skill tree?

No,CI is for specific circumstances usually.To be survivable in poe 2 high evasion or high energy shield is best atm,armour is basically trash.
