It's interesting how different people's brains work. I've never had a "nightmare" in my life. Instead I have "stressmares" like your work example. For example, last night I dreamed I was visiting my grandparents, and when I went to turn on the hose to water some plants, the spigot got stuck open. So the neighbor called code enforcement. Code enforcement came and gave us a violation for wasting water. When I explained this was unfair to do to seniors on a fixed income, and we'd just turn the house's water off until the plumber arrived, code enforcement called department of family services because there were seniors who didn't have access to running water. I woke up in a cold sweat right as the family service agents arrived.
Work nightmares are the worst. I once had a nightmare about having to deal with a massive line of customers at McDonald's while the fryers were constantly beeping at me, and then I woke up about 3 hours before my shift.
I'd get those waiting tables, weeded 25 tables deep and shit. Leave and run to the store for unknown reasons to suddenly remember I had 25 tables to get back to.. Nightmares of being in the weeds, never had bad dreams of any other profession ive held. Great time as a young man, but wouldn't go back if i had to haha.

And I had to essentially fortify the place with Sandbags and Sh|t, and it would essentially be a retail version of Normandy, but Zombies. It would always end with either me dying or a loud Horn
Those are the worst I still get nightmares of having to go to my old job as a dishwasher at an Italian restaurant. The place is already a mess everyone basically called off and it's a busy service, I feel the hot pans burning my hands as I'm trying to clean them quick because they are all out and the head chef boss is yelling at me triggering my phobia. I can’t believe how simple these dreams are! When I was a kid, I dreamt horror movies! At 17, I had the exact same dream 23 nights in a row! Exact, but it went a bit further each time. Once it got to the end I never dreamt it again. It was about me being sacrificed by some weird religious sect, by dropping a large stone on me, and each of the monks would get a drip of my blood on the hems of their robes. Chanting in Latin, waving incense burners, the whole works! You’d think after 23 nights, it would be something meaningful, something important, but I’ve never made sense of it.
@alphagt62 I once had a shadow over innsmouth dream... fuck the "not" running was so awful, never got to the end cause I'd wake up covered in sweat after the fish guys caught up to me
So, in my house we have a bridge thing. It is above our living room and connects two bedrooms. Anway when I was probably like 4 years old, I kept having this dream (maybe I only had it once I don't really remember) in this dream I would jump off the bridge, land on my feet, feel pain through my dream somehow, and run up the stairs and do it again. Brewstew please heart this!
Honestly relatable, I had like 2 recurring nightmares. First ever one was the Wonder Pets if anyone knows what that is, crashing at the end of the episode and dying, and then i'd wake up scared. And I still have no idea why I kept dreaming that. The second on was usually when I was sick, which was just me seeing what I could only describe as a wavy underwater filter while I looked around. Not exactly a nightmare other than maybe when i would wind up suffocating so badly in the dream that I would actually have to force myself awake and be regaining breath. Only other thing to mention for dreams is a lot of recurring nightmares of me getting attacked by a dog, that and when i'm sick i have the most unhinged dreams for whatever reason.
That’s so weird. I had a dream the Wonder Pets flew into my bedroom and start digging through my stuff, and every time I tried to ask what they were doing, the duck character would scold me and not answer the question. This wasn’t a reoccurring dream, but it’s one of those dreams that I remembered in vivid detail all the way into my adulthood for some reason lol
I keep having dreams where my car's breaks don't work, or I'm trying to punch someone but my fist is like going through water and it's really really hard to swing
Not even a week ago, I had recurring dreams that I was at work, and since I was doing nothing, I'd get yelled at. Now my real bedroom has the same physical layout (obviously much smaller), and at my job, my workstation is around a corner from the main room. In my bedroom, I have a curtain hanging from the ceiling near where my computer is, so i don't get blinded at 2am from it randomly turning on. Now, after I wake up from said dream, I'm obviously in the dark in my own room. But that doesn't stop me from getting out of bed to go around that corner and getting back to work so I dont get yelled at. And most of the time, I realize half way over there, it's 3am and I'm losing more sleep and my job starts at 7, and now I only get 3 more hours of sleep. 0/10, don't recommend having this dream
These are so great! I've been laughing for 10 minutes over this one. Please keep them coming and thank you so much. Some of these could be a series for Adult Swim, like the stories of you and your friends as kids in school. Kind of like a Christmas Story for the rest of the school year & summer. Thanks again.
One of my recurring nightmares as a kid happened after watching the movie Halloween. At the time, I lived in an apartment, and it had a wooden balcony. This balcony had slits so you could see down below if you wanted to. Anyway, this translated into me as a kid stepping out onto my balcony, and Michael Myers was below stabbing my feet through the slits.
Not a dream, but I had a fear of finding a spider under my blankets once, and I'll be damned if I didn't find a big spider under my blankets while I was completely naked getting into bed. I never trust that anymore, lol

3:11 there’s actually a scientific explanation for why no one can run at full speed in their dreams. I don’t remember the details, but something about the sleep process slowing down considerably but the part that processes what’s happening is aware that it’s slowed down and you should be able to go faster.
Spiders, tornadoes, and heights were my reoccurring nightmares when I was a kid. And they were also my worst nightmares and I had so God damn many of them… Also one weird quirk was that when I fell in a dream I felt this very uncomfortable sensation in my gut and lower back with me most likely tensing up in real life has I slept with this happening so much that even when I wasn't aware I was in a dream I knew if I fell it would hurt. And no, it wasn't the hitting the ground that hurt, it was the falling that hurt! Hitting the ground was the sweet relief from the tensing sensation. So I wasn't afraid of falling to my death but the pain of the actual process of falling when in dreams. And yes I could totally feel pain in dreams and I totally hit the ground when I fell to. I also got caught in dreams but since I'm a gamer I would usually restart like it was a checkpoint or something lol so I had the extra ''fun'' of being chased over and over again. I've been burned in dreams, I've been bit in dreams, I've been suffocated in dreams when I stuck my head out of a space ship which was a very unpleasant sensation luckily I woke up with me wondering what the hell happened and was I being choked by my damn blanket or something. So in conclusion it sucked when I dreamed as a kid has I broke all the rules and had weird new ones that were unpleasant but luckily I grew out of this shit eventually so there's that
My top 3 are: - I am back in school and can't find my class. - I am back in the USMC and haven't shaved and can't find my uniform and I have duty and can't find the desk. - I'm on back on deployment and have to fit my entire house into a single seabag.
You ever had that dream where you're flying around on a couch cushion trying to kill Micky mouse with a blow gun but every time you try and shoot him he runs around a corner. You can't chase after him because the cushion will not turn left. So that was a dream I had a lot.
I’ve worked a dead end retail job for five years. Had recurring nightmares about it. So often, I’d started to wonder which was the dream, and which was the real one. Messed with mental health pretty bad.
The first 2 hit me like a brick because I get those constantly too. Nothing more aggravating than a full shift at work only to wake up and realize you're not getting those hours on a paycheck. My zombie dreams are always about the prelude, where I am in a house or something and no zombies to be seen, but I KNOW they're coming and have to cover up the 15 billion windows and doors this house has only for them to arrive in waves halfway through my prep. I lose the defense, get chased upstairs, and have to pull some BS to get out the upstairs window and start roof hopping until I slip, fall, and wake up covered in sweat like that work out was done in real life.
Not a reoccurring nightmare, but I once had a nightmare where I was working my retail job, but the back room where we unloaded the trucks was multiple levels tall and everything was on fire. When I woke up I said to myself, "Huh... Well, I know what Hell looks like now."
the worst kind of recurring nightmares are the ones that don't even end, just play on a loop over and over until you wake up. i had one of those years ago, and it was weirdly tied to my progress in a flash game called "last line of defense". in it, you play as a gunner defending a bunker in a zombie Apocalypse, as the waves got increasingly difficult, there was this one wave that had been gate keeping me because i was never ready for it. the weird part was that wasn't my actual nightmare. my nightmare was that i had to go and grab supplies from a building you can see if you pan to the far bottom left of the screen, and in that building the entire ground was covered in oil. i would slip and fall in it, only for some guy, that i can only describe as a voldemort wanna-be crawling up to me with a rag in hand saying "all it takes, is one drop" where he lets go of the rag and it opens to reveal 4 grenades, with the pins pulled. so i pick my ass up and start running towards a door that was slowly closing as a explosion rung out behind me and i could feel the heat from the fire, and right as i would reach the door, the dream would loop right back to where the guy said what he says and just repeat that sequence until i woke up. i had stopped playing the game because i had forgotten about it until one day years later, i found it again while i was in high school and played it again, and then that night, that dream came back to haunt me.
I had a reoccurring nightmare of being stuck in various locations while being hunted by Velociraptors from Jurassic Park. Those dreams would even give me false hope of rescue sometimes with like a swat team showing up, only to get brutally eviscerated and leaving me back at square one
I work on the railroad. When I was younger I had a yard switch assignment where we would switch railroad cars around all night. Then I went home and dreamed that I was switching railroad cars. When I came back to work that night, I was dragging ass because I had worked two shifts! I get it.
Dude. That whole not being able to run thing is a super frequently occurring trope in my dreams for some reason! There are several others as well, but that might be the most frustrating in the dreams themselves. Nice to know I'm not the only one!
the only thing as bad as these reoccurring nightmares is accidentally speaking some stuff during your sleeping that you would NOT want to say in front of your mom (true story)
You're actually extremely late. Everyone else showed up, watched the video, had a Q & A after, all went out to drinks, then went back home... that's when you showed up.

Resident Evil 2 was such a game changer to the franchise. I played the remake and the OG. I shit you not, the OG is 10 times harder then the remake. Especially on the N64.
fun fact: when these dreams happen, they happen because of trauma from memories from the past, this is called the andrew luger effect. source: i made it up
Can confirm work dreams are the worst, the more mundane the more dire (especially if you find yourself snoozing in the toilet). Was literally having the worst day at work, tired, rushed through traffic to arrive 30 mins late and I was smashing out a last minute report for an impending meeting. Just as I was wondering if the day could get any worse I needed the bathroom real bad. As soon as I pushed the door open... I woke up bolt upright in bed. It was fifteen minutes past my start time at work, I did have that report/meeting combo to do and worst of all I had to start my late day rush with a trip to the bathroom. Pro tip - If you have recurring nightmares about work it's a sign you need to leave asap and just do something else altogether if possible. As soon as I left that job I never had a work nightmare again, and it's not as if I haven't had boring stretches or major crunch periods lasting weeks.

I've been burned in dreams, I've been bit in dreams, I've been suffocated in dreams when I stuck my head out of a space ship which was a very unpleasant sensation luckily I woke up with me wondering what the hell happened and was I being choked by my damn blanket or something.
So in conclusion it sucked when I dreamed as a kid has I broke all the rules and had weird new ones that were unpleasant but luckily I grew out of this shit eventually so there's that
A reoccurring nightmare I have is watching the saints & titans play every week
my nightmare is having to watch the saints play tmr shit not going to be fun
Reoccurring my dream is the lions playing every week, got me overdosing on melatonin gummies to get more of it
My top 3 are:
- I am back in school and can't find my class.
- I am back in the USMC and haven't shaved and can't find my uniform and I have duty and can't find the desk.
- I'm on back on deployment and have to fit my entire house into a single seabag.
Aw the good old school dreams. I seem to get then a lot. Most of the time they are just weird.
@wildadventure5101 some are just weird as hell yea. I dream of my home town a lot but it's distorted and Euclidean in my dreams
You ever had that dream where you're flying around on a couch cushion trying to kill Micky mouse with a blow gun but every time you try and shoot him he runs around a corner. You can't chase after him because the cushion will not turn left. So that was a dream I had a lot.
Hi subscriber from Australia 🇦🇺. You have probably heard this a million times, but you are a comic GENIUS. ABSOLUTELY LOVEBYOUR WORK!❤😊
Amazed you remembered all of these dreams when I can’t remember the dream I just had
I’ve worked a dead end retail job for five years. Had recurring nightmares about it. So often, I’d started to wonder which was the dream, and which was the real one. Messed with mental health pretty bad.
As a kid I had a recurring nightmare van pelt from jumanji was hunting me and my cat
That was actually just me sorry
4:58 I’m pretty sure his head was telling him what’s happening
The first 2 hit me like a brick because I get those constantly too. Nothing more aggravating than a full shift at work only to wake up and realize you're not getting those hours on a paycheck. My zombie dreams are always about the prelude, where I am in a house or something and no zombies to be seen, but I KNOW they're coming and have to cover up the 15 billion windows and doors this house has only for them to arrive in waves halfway through my prep. I lose the defense, get chased upstairs, and have to pull some BS to get out the upstairs window and start roof hopping until I slip, fall, and wake up covered in sweat like that work out was done in real life.
rediscovered this channel and it pretty much made my morning
WE NEED MORE PLUSH TOYS TO BUY NOW!!!
Nightmares about work are the fucking worst 😂 you wake up feeling exhausted and have to go right back.
Not a reoccurring nightmare, but I once had a nightmare where I was working my retail job, but the back room where we unloaded the trucks was multiple levels tall and everything was on fire. When I woke up I said to myself, "Huh... Well, I know what Hell looks like now."
Harry and Marv called, they wanted me to remind you that you aren't safe Tyler.
The Wet Bandits are on the loose again?! 😱
I love the zombie noise/growl from the game. Brings back memories
The worst recurring dream for me is when i am yelling for help, but no sounds come out, and i feel it when i wake up.
"ooooahhhhh Piss!!!"
At 6:11 on the wall.. BERZERKER From clerks or whatever
Yes, that's Silent Bobs cousin Olaf. Very observant of you.
My love for you is like a truck BERZERKER
the worst kind of recurring nightmares are the ones that don't even end, just play on a loop over and over until you wake up. i had one of those years ago, and it was weirdly tied to my progress in a flash game called "last line of defense". in it, you play as a gunner defending a bunker in a zombie Apocalypse, as the waves got increasingly difficult, there was this one wave that had been gate keeping me because i was never ready for it. the weird part was that wasn't my actual nightmare. my nightmare was that i had to go and grab supplies from a building you can see if you pan to the far bottom left of the screen, and in that building the entire ground was covered in oil. i would slip and fall in it, only for some guy, that i can only describe as a voldemort wanna-be crawling up to me with a rag in hand saying "all it takes, is one drop" where he lets go of the rag and it opens to reveal 4 grenades, with the pins pulled. so i pick my ass up and start running towards a door that was slowly closing as a explosion rung out behind me and i could feel the heat from the fire, and right as i would reach the door, the dream would loop right back to where the guy said what he says and just repeat that sequence until i woke up. i had stopped playing the game because i had forgotten about it until one day years later, i found it again while i was in high school and played it again, and then that night, that dream came back to haunt me.
Aron, thats one crazy ass dream

This guys is the definition of a childhood hero ❤
I had a reoccurring nightmare of being stuck in various locations while being hunted by Velociraptors from Jurassic Park. Those dreams would even give me false hope of rescue sometimes with like a swat team showing up, only to get brutally eviscerated and leaving me back at square one
got diagnosed with covid today, and this upload is 1000000% gonna make me heal faster
2:15 Is he gonna play that game for a video?

HIII
this is the earliest i've been to a video, me personally i never had a recurring nightmare
You're actually extremely late. Everyone else showed up, watched the video, had a Q & A after, all went out to drinks, then went back home... that's when you showed up.
Road Barrier @ 3:12 is from Rust! lol.
No the one from rust is white the one in the vid is from Garry's mod
5:12 The Holy Hi-Five actually sounds like a decent roller coaster ngl
6:12 "My love for you is ticking clock, berserker"? 🤔
That’s beautiful, man.
Hey Olaf, girls think sexy!
Nahhh
1:48 My big brother Lance plays "Resident Evil 2" video game.
That's crazy omg how does he do it??😮😮😮😮😮😮😮🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Such memories with these low budget cartoons 😂 I love them and the fact that you never change the animation so please don't change it lol
Nice
Resident Evil 2 was such a game changer to the franchise. I played the remake and the OG. I shit you not, the OG is 10 times harder then the remake. Especially on the N64.
fun fact: when these dreams happen, they happen because of trauma from memories from the past, this is called the andrew luger effect.
source: i made it up
Threw you a like for citing your source. Maybe people just expect to be trusted at their word nowadays.

3:50 I wish I didn't take a swig of soda at this moment
My favorite part is when he says “Alright” when he start the video
5:22 ‘OH PISS-OH PISS!’ 🤣🤣🤣
2:55 this always happens in dreams and I have no clue why!
2:02 leon is SO hot
