Brooooo the memories, I'm gonna cry. I used to go to our local arcade Diversions in 7th and 8th grade with my friends every Friday no fail here in Chicago and I remember going through all of these songs and freestyling spinning and dancing to every single one of these songs. I even formed a dance team with my friend Gary named NBS Nothin But Style and we entered tournaments together. I even got a girl's number from playing. After The Game was my absolute favorite to freestyle dance to on double pads. I miss this era soooo much! Q.Q
Kinda funny looking back at how my local GameStop didn't know about Dance Dance Revolution Konamix and I was asking for a PS1 game that released almost a decade ago when I was like 10-11 and collecting the games :P
Fun Fact: You can import Custom Stepcharts from this game to DDR Max (US CS) and DDR Max 2 (US CS). However, it will not work with the Arcade version of DDR Extreme due to region differences nor will it work with DDR Extreme (US CS) and other future US DDR titles.
Some Songs in DDR Konamix: DDR Extreme: .59 Absolute B4U Drop Out Drop the Bomb Higher On the Jazz Wild Rush DDR Extreme 2: Afronova Primeval Brilliant 2u Burnin' The Floor Dive Dynamite Rave Paranoia

It was a budget test release to see if it was worth bringing more home versions to the US. Remember, that technically the ONLY US release of the game outside of that one off arcade DDR, was the original DDR release for PS1. Yes, 5th Mix and even MAX 1 was out at this point, but technically we didn't get those or anything like it until the PS2 MAX1 US release.
Screw Just Dance. DDR will always be the ultimate dance game!

Rather a bargain basement game. Re used assets and songs pulled from previous games.
