Just to clarify. Once you unlock a Mech or weapon in the progress path you must purchase it with credits or acoins. Weapons 8 energy and below come in pairs (only one set). And weapons 10 energy and above come as a single weapon that you can earn a second copy to by upgrading its rank to rank 6. If a weapon does not show up in your list at all while trying to equip a weapon on a Mech it is most likely because you already have it equipped on another mech. Hope that helps. Get past them as fast as you can and get to Killshot, Panther and guardian. Then once you’re leveled them up you can circle back around to Lancer if you really love it. (I wouldn’t recommend Paragon)

True! I was mentioning it in relation to the pulse cannon I believe right? That has a 60m optimal range so it's possible to stay in optimal range but out of range of the melee dash too. It's quite high!
I like your reviews of the weapons, but the videos you chose can be confusing. Mixing the Arc Torrent with a Carbine side arm, shows of the strength of the Carbine more than the Arc Torrent. Using a Killshot, shows off its damage ability, making it harder to see how much damage the weapons do. A better video set would be all weapons on the Paragon, but who wants to play that many Paragon battles?
you are right I thought the same but if the person is listening then he wouldn't confuse it cuz he explained 1 of the guns before the other and the way he worded it made it perfectly clear wich gun on the video he was talking about. also you can't see how much damage a weapon does because they can be upgraded and so can the mechs, plus diferent mechs and different angles damage diferent aswell.

you are correct , because I had played my early gameing using a set of plasma cannon 4 with killshot , OMG!! it is working like a death machine because I got 24 kills and in the next match I got 23 kills!

May I ask something.? I'm nearing midgame with 4 mech slots and 14k exp and I want to unlock Shadow. The question is, Is it worth unlocking him at this time and what weapons do I equip on him? I'm thinking of using shotties but I haven't unlocked them yet. i'm also thinking of scrapping the idea altogether. Oh and, you should do a "Best Mech Load-Out" on him. I'm sure alot of people will love it ♥.
well if you ask me it is not worth it... coz it have lowest armour in the game, least energy and is very expensive to upgrade like it is twice more the amount you need to upgrade panther or guardian But again its your choice.. if you feel like playing secretively suits you go for it... but you will have to grind for it a lot

Shadow can be a great mech end game. Once he hits max energy and can put on some decent weapons like a railgun or dual mr8s, he's quite good and can get around the battlefield unhindered. However until you get there he's a resource sink as he's expensive to get and upgrade (especially mid-game). Plus, he's not going to be a mech that replaces the core guys like killshot, panther, and guardian/zephyr easily. I would say until you have 3-4 solid mechs near or at end game, try to leave shadow as a small side project you throw a few upgrades to here and there.
Good point! The shotgun fits the early game, but that's about it. Beyond that you have missile rack 8s which are kindof like close to mid-range burst/power weapons and Arc Torrents which are sustain, but not like your typical sustain weapon. Other close-range options would be cool though :)
I've been noticing that while you're overheated from thermal lance, your mech speed is also decreased. Not as much as stasis beam or shield, but enough.
It depends on what you are after. If you have a goal in mind like a certain mech or weapon that you haven’t unlocked in your progress path, then you should save them until they are unlocked. But you are usually safe to open crates otherwise. I would just save a few for dailies or events.
I'm confused about the javelin rack 6. It says 6 javelins but only shows 3 per rack. The missile racks show the correct number per side. So if I equip just 1 I'm not sure of the damage.
The reason its called the Javelin rack 6 is that it requires 6 energy to equip it. It has nothing to do with the number of missiles it carries. Confusing right? I used to have the same issue with the missile racks; the missile rack 6 only holds 5 missiles and the missile rack only holds 6.....whaaaaa??? lol
@@scape211 I get that part. But the actual weapon shows 6 slots for the missile rack 8, and 5 for the missile rack 6 when you look at the actual weapon. I only see 3 javelins on the rack 6 but the description says 6 javelins. Maybe it's just how it looks but it's confusing to me if it's 6 javelins for the pair of racks or 6 javelins each?
@@autismpointofview4031 Its definitely meant to mean the Javelin Rack 6 - 6 energy is needed to equip it and it has 3 missiles per rack. However, if you find areas where the description is confusing and says 6 missiles that it fires, then take a screenshot and send it to the developers through in-game support. It might be a typo they missed or just worded it poorly.
@@scape211 I'm not tech savvy. I don't know how to do that. I was just confused. You can see that if you equip only 1 rack and look at the description. Is says clearly that there is 6 in the magazine and that damage is multiplied by 6 per javelin. So I guess I half that amount if only using 1? So if I equip 1 on 2 mechs each then the damage isn't really what it says? Very confusing. And I really don't know how to tell the developers. I'm sorry. Am I off base or is my confusion legit? It's hard to believe that I'm the only one noticing this discrepancy.

What you have is decent. You're at a point where you need to focus on upgrades/purchases for key things to really sink into the mid-tier. So let me give you a quick rundown. Killshot should go up to 3 stars and take the jav6s. I doubt jav4s are killing stuff fast enough and at 2 stars your dash isn't likely doing enough either. He needs an upgrade. The panther setup is ok, but I think dual LA8s are better for him. I know you have it on Arachnos, but it's better on Panther and that will be a better mech moving forward. Arachnos should be a backup. Guardian with PC8s is good for now, but you will want to start saving credits for missile rack 8s. Great for him and great for others (like killshot when it's 4 stars). So yea: upgrade killshot, switch arachnos and panther builds, save credits for missile rack 8, then the eventual zephyr. That's what I would do. Hope that helps!
Scape211 - Mech Arena thanks a lot 🙏 Now i rank up my panther use dual long arm 8s and for my arachnos i use dual plasma cannon 6s but my panther is now so strong i dont even need to use arachnos in match But i need more blue prints for my kill shot so i can level up 1 level then use A-coins to rank up but then i need more A-coins to buy Jav 6s but hopefully i get some from tournoment and i have 30000 credits im saving them for missile rack 8s as you saied Again thank you for your help❤️
It is 30m, but depending on your connection and latency to the server, it might work at slightly different ranges like 29, 32 or even a little more or less. This commonly happens to a lot of people.

I would say until you have 3-4 solid mechs near or at end game, try to leave shadow as a small side project you throw a few upgrades to here and there.

Good point! The shotgun fits the early game, but that's about it. Beyond that you have missile rack 8s which are kindof like close to mid-range burst/power weapons and Arc Torrents which are sustain, but not like your typical sustain weapon. Other close-range options would be cool though :)

just started a few days ago, trying to get javalin rack 6 for my killshot. It is using javalin rack 4 right now
Both are good but obviously the jav6 is better with killshot. Good goal to work towards.

I've been noticing that while you're overheated from thermal lance, your mech speed is also decreased. Not as much as stasis beam or shield, but enough.
Yea I think you might be right. Hard to tell as I think the slow down is minor, but it seems apparent.

The overheat is making the mech hot so little energy is transferred to the cooling unit to keep the mech cool

It depends on what you are after. If you have a goal in mind like a certain mech or weapon that you haven’t unlocked in your progress path, then you should save them until they are unlocked. But you are usually safe to open crates otherwise. I would just save a few for dailies or events.

I'm confused about the javelin rack 6. It says 6 javelins but only shows 3 per rack. The missile racks show the correct number per side. So if I equip just 1 I'm not sure of the damage.
The reason its called the Javelin rack 6 is that it requires 6 energy to equip it. It has nothing to do with the number of missiles it carries. Confusing right? I used to have the same issue with the missile racks; the missile rack 6 only holds 5 missiles and the missile rack only holds 6.....whaaaaa??? lol
@@scape211 I get that part. But the actual weapon shows 6 slots for the missile rack 8, and 5 for the missile rack 6 when you look at the actual weapon. I only see 3 javelins on the rack 6 but the description says 6 javelins. Maybe it's just how it looks but it's confusing to me if it's 6 javelins for the pair of racks or 6 javelins each?
@@autismpointofview4031 Its definitely meant to mean the Javelin Rack 6 - 6 energy is needed to equip it and it has 3 missiles per rack. However, if you find areas where the description is confusing and says 6 missiles that it fires, then take a screenshot and send it to the developers through in-game support. It might be a typo they missed or just worded it poorly.
@@scape211 I'm not tech savvy. I don't know how to do that. I was just confused. You can see that if you equip only 1 rack and look at the description. Is says clearly that there is 6 in the magazine and that damage is multiplied by 6 per javelin. So I guess I half that amount if only using 1? So if I equip 1 on 2 mechs each then the damage isn't really what it says? Very confusing. And I really don't know how to tell the developers. I'm sorry. Am I off base or is my confusion legit? It's hard to believe that I'm the only one noticing this discrepancy.

What you have is decent. You're at a point where you need to focus on upgrades/purchases for key things to really sink into the mid-tier. So let me give you a quick rundown. Killshot should go up to 3 stars and take the jav6s. I doubt jav4s are killing stuff fast enough and at 2 stars your dash isn't likely doing enough either. He needs an upgrade. The panther setup is ok, but I think dual LA8s are better for him. I know you have it on Arachnos, but it's better on Panther and that will be a better mech moving forward. Arachnos should be a backup. Guardian with PC8s is good for now, but you will want to start saving credits for missile rack 8s. Great for him and great for others (like killshot when it's 4 stars). So yea: upgrade killshot, switch arachnos and panther builds, save credits for missile rack 8, then the eventual zephyr. That's what I would do. Hope that helps!

Now i rank up my panther use dual long arm 8s and for my arachnos i use dual plasma cannon 6s but my panther is now so strong i dont even need to use arachnos in match
But i need more blue prints for my kill shot so i can level up 1 level then use A-coins to rank up but then i need more A-coins to buy Jav 6s but hopefully i get some from tournoment and i have 30000 credits im saving them for missile rack 8s as you saied

It is 30m, but depending on your connection and latency to the server, it might work at slightly different ranges like 29, 32 or even a little more or less. This commonly happens to a lot of people.
