Honestly, reviewing toilets is underrated. How often have you been into a toilet and went "eww"? If only we had a way of avoiding that, like a rating system!

yeah, your Tom and Jerry experience was not the ordinary collab cafe experience. These places are mostly for instagram pics, not taste. And pretty much everyone who ever reviews popup cafes says the same thing.
I was in that very same cat cafe last year. It was really nice pleasant experience and the cats looked and acted like they were well treated, and of course it had a beautiful view of harajuku station and Yoyogi park entrance.
You reaaaaaaally need to go back and watch some of Emirichu's pop-up cafe reviews. Basically only a 1% chance that the food will actually be good. They really only rely on the nostalgia factor for business. Thanks, fella~! What sorts of wacky things will Mudan get up to tomorrow?

Sounds like the food was on par with the Pokemon Cafe lol. I would recommend trying the Monster Hunter Bar in Akihabara. It's in the same building as the Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy cafes. The food there was unique and had actual taste.

I'm glad the Tom&Jerry one was nice. 2:55 Funny enough it's the opposite in Japan, where things like furikake are considered more ""childish"" because some kids can't eat plain rice. There's many types of furikake marketed specifically to children.
Look up Fuunji and Gonokami in Shinjuku. Have one or both, but they will make up for your awful meal experience with delicious tsukemen. Guaranteed to make you feel better.

trust me kids eat bland food until they discover taste buds exists. As emily has put it. Some cafe's make an effort for the food. But the cafe you went for is just Aesthetics with meh food on the side.
