I was stationed at MacDill AFB when we switched from F-4s to F-16s (53rd TFW) Pilots LOVED the F-16, but I missed the roar and smoke of F-4 take-offs...
@@scalemodelpursuit oh ya really enjoyed the videos. I couldn’t tell what you used there but I really like the color on the GE 110. Thanks. Hope you make an F-14 sometime 😁
Hi Julian, thanks! @9:30 I used Cadmium Yellow and Burnt umber dots on the inside of the nozzle. Later in the video I used Titanium White tone down the outside of the nozzle.

wish I had Your skill, or the money to buy Your model, Really fantastic. Thanks for uploading this!
Thanks a lot! Appreciate the feedback
Dang - I wish assembling the real engines was that easy. Great job!!
Haha, no kidding right? Those engines are some seriously complex pieces of machinery
@@scalemodelpursuit yep - I worked on them (actually, the F100 series for the F-15 and F-16) for ten years.
@@roberthearn2908 wow that had to have been a really cool experience
What are you talking about? This was obviously way harder than assembling the real engines
@@Sciguy95 lmao - oh, definitely harder!
What paint did you use for the outside nozzle first? Alclad semi-matte aluminum ? I just got this kit and your nozzle color is perfect. Great job BTW
Thanks for watching! The color @13:37 is Alclad ALC104 Pale Burnt Metal. I love that paint. Enjoy building this kit, it is a great one.
