    The amount of effort, skill and patience required ... one has to be a perfect perfectionist in order to produce something that looks so perfectly imperfect in condition!

    *When i saw the title of your video i thought : "yeah, another video about nozzles, and that's all?". yes but it requires so much products, Technics, etc. that these parts deserve it! Very nice result, 👏👏*

    Interesting video, thanks! Always fun to see the use of different products and techniques, sometimes asking myself what the hell tiny little steps like the enamels will be good for, but in the end it all comes together in a fantastic and really realistic looking result. I guess it's a characteristic of "professional" model builders to see the end result in a piece of grey plastic, much like an artist looking at a blank canvas. Thanks again for sharing, I learned something new!

    I'd love to see one of these types of videos on doing WW2 aircraft tires. Obviously the tires and weathering are different for a Lancaster compared to a Hellcat, but still, mine always turn out looking like solid black plastic regardless of how I paint them.

    • @ScaleHangar182
      @ScaleHangar182  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I was dabbing a little enamel and wiped some excess off, you can see these kind of colors that look like abrasions iside the real thing. It was pretty hard to record ill try to get it done better next time. I actually never seen it done like that before too i just wanted to try out something new.

    Hej. Zauważyłem, że uszkodziły się fragmenty farby przy krawędzi wyrzutu (w kierunku środka maszyny) po zdjęciu taśmy maskującej. Czy na tych uszkodzonych fragmentach kładłeś lakier? Jakiś czas temu taśma maskująca uszkodziła mi lakier poliuretanowy Vallejo pomimo, że dałem mu do wyschnięcia min.24 godziny.

    Great modelling skill and I appreciate the amount of effort gone in to this video, but you seriously need to go and have a look at a real Phantom II in a Museum, I highly recommend the F-4J at the 'American Air Museum' at Duxford, in Cambridge UK. It might pay to take you camera and take plenty of photos. !!!

      @@ScaleHangar182 I reckon the gentleman is referring to the inside of the afterburner section that you painted with Alclad Pale Burnt Metal (@2:24).
      That part of the J79 engine was lined with a heat resistant material that was actually green (similar to Tamiya XF-5 "Flat Green").
      With time though, that green lining turned into a brown-ish color due to the high temperatures.
      It's a very minor mistake, but one that won't go unnoticed to the F-4 aficionados. 😉 Nice work anyway!👍
