Dj premier, 9th wonder, nujabes, j dilla, pete rock, the alchemist, and madlib. Unparalleled beat makers. The dream team of producers in my personal opinion.
I am a 43 year old backpack/indie Hip Hop fiend. I have been true to it since before a lot of you were even alive... not trying to front on anyone, but that is just the way it is. To anyone that is saying this is garbage or sampling shows a lack of talent have no idea what they are talking about. This is about as true to the essence hip hop as you can find today.
Ric Flair well said Ric Flair.....myself am 44 now and 45 this summer.....all true hip hop is sampling,,,,of anything and everything.....Schooly D back in the day sampled everything....we sample quality music from all genres and mix it to make new music....AKA---- Hip-Hop.................
Ric Flair I'm 42 and have been a true Hip-Hop purist since 1983. 9th Wonder is my favorite Hip-Hop producer along with Premier, J Dilla, RZA, and Nujabes. Along with Q-Tip, he is a master sampler. He's so flawless and smooth when he incorporates classic Soul and R&B to his beats. 9th represents Hip-Hop culture to the fullest and shows respect to all those legends that came before him. Hip-Hop today is lost and needs heroes like him to help the culture find its way back to the world and everyone's ears.
DiverseCity415 Indeed, Fam. Q-Tip's 'Drink Away The Pain' beat for Mobb Deep is prob my favorite beat of ALL TIME And Madlib, when he is in hip-hop mode, is untouchable.
My first beats for 9th wonder were from Minstrel show back in '04 for me,then my world changed.got most of his project artists from little brother, buckshot, rapsody, joe scudda, fast forward listening to this in '15, this music is food to the heart.Reppin you from Kenya.
