Hey dear I have the same car with an after market alarm which fuse I need to remove to disable it it’s annoying when it go off thank you
Hi Dear,
Since its aftermarket alarm you will have to find the source fuse yourself. To what is the alarm connected for power?
Hello how are you can you please tell me what can make my headlight sign to be on all the time it’s goes off when I take out headlight fuse 17 and the fuse is still in good condition
Hi @
NkululekoMalgas I am fine, wbu?
I dint get your question, sorry.
do you mean the headlight sign "on your dashboard" to remain on? even when fuse 17 is taken out & so lights off.
OR
Headlights to remain ON even with fuse 17 taken out, if you mean this i know a solution.
Which do at your own stake( I don't take any responsibility, if it later blows ur lights) Bypass the fuse adapter connections with a small Copper wire. (This will allow the current to flow, just like a fuse. Only thing if ever it exceeds rating it wont be able to protect ur lights)
I have done that & it has worked 👌 for me. watch @5:08 here: th-cam.com/video/h9wXIMve7Tg/w-d-xo.html
@@AmateurPetrolHead OK cool no stress I found the problem
I have Toyota Yaris 2006. I have problem that on Display there is no more Clock. I do not see any clock. How I can settle this problem.?
I don't think it's a Fuse problem, because if it were, you would face the same issue with dashboard lights too.
Hope this helps: perso.aquilenet.fr/~sven337/english/2019/05/25/Fixing-a-broken-dashboard-clock-on-Toyota-Yaris.html
Cause: The vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) drive circuit uses an inefficient linear regulator design to provide energy to the filaments. The transistors produce a lot of heat and die after several years.
Solution: A VFD is a fairly complex system that I didn’t know about before investigating the problem, and my early attempts were to repair the existing power supply design. It turned out to be more reliable to replace it with a switched-mode power supply (a buck module).
@@AmateurPetrolHead Thank you very much for your reply. I try to bring my car to workshop for checkup
Hello Dawood

In my LHD 2009 Yaris 1.5L petrol, @2:46 its fuse no. 44 (7.5A) Cabin compartment fuse box.
Question: Why am i the Camera man? 😅
Thank you! Ask me a question and maybe I can help you too!😁
@Wallace Rose
1Q) In the interior of the car, there's just 1 fuse box right? Or more are there like some subsidiries.
Cause in some other youtube videos(latest model Yaris) I saw people show some really small fuse box located above the steering wheel/behind center console.
2Q) @2:31 @2:46 in the owners manual why are there so many fuse box sketches, has it got to do with which variant it is, like base model/top-spec model?
@@AmateurPetrolHead There are so many fuses because each owner has options. For example one new owner might want abs brakes while another doesn't.
which relay do i change if the wipers are not working , ps , speedometer and indicators
@@WallaceRoseVincent where can i find the OBD fuse

Where is the turn indicator flasher relay located for yaris sedan 2018 vx cvt model india
It should be a 10 AMP, No. 29 for Engine Compartment Fuse Box.

Fuse ID/UP / MIR HTR its what for sir?
It stands for Multiport fuel injection system/sequential multiport fuel injection system.
It'll be a 10 A fuse.
Which fuse is for the ac. I have a 2007 Yaris
I'll assume yours too is Hatchback,
If yes, www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM52754U/pdf/OM52754U.pdf in pages 308-310 the 5 fuses related to air conditioner are mentioned.
If it's sedan, use this link www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM52736U/pdf/OM52736U.pdf
my dashcam is hardwired to my 2019 Yaris, recently it hasn't been powering up, i suspect the it's unplugged, do you know how I can check it?
sorry to hear that, could you share more information?
Which brand & model is the dashcam
& did you install it yourself or through a dealer/workshop?
@@AmateurPetrolHead thanks for replying mate. the camera is blackvue dr750s-2ch which was installed by the dealership part of the package when the car was bought brand new.. I took it for a half-yearly service at the dealership few weeks ago and I think they unplugged it somehow. I only realised the camera didn't turn on few days after that. I called the dealership and they said they could have a look if only I bring the car back which is going to cost me a day off work.. So I thought i may be able to check myself but so far I can't really figure out what went wrong just by looking at the fuses
