- Documentary film about the last nomadic reindeer herder family in the extreme cold, preserving a way of life unchanged for thousands of years. Far from modern civilization, they follow ancient traditions in one of the harshest environments on Earth. We traveled 1300 km by car along some of the most dangerous roads on the planet, and battled intense snowstorms to show you the life of one of the last families of reindeer herders.

Thanks so much for sharing ❤️ !
your English is amazing!! thank you for this video :)

It's wonderful, reminds us of how 'things' can take over our lives when they are so unimportant. Thank you for making all these videos!
This is NatGeo level of story telling! Well done! Sooo goood!
thank you so much!!
The production quality is higher than on Netflix. Amazing topics. Thanks for sharing with us.
Wow, thank you! 😍
Totally agree. The drone footage are stunning.
How thoughtful of the government to help out these valuable women who are needed so desperately in this field of work.
as an indigenous sami from northern sweden ( reindeer herders in scandinavia) this is so fun to see how we are like the same with cloths and food and how to herd.
😍
the drone images of the taiga forest made me tear up a bit... our planet is so beautiful
yess!! it's so magnificent!
It is and it’s sadly being destroyed by the Russian and Chinese governments for the past umpteen amount of years. They don’t care about this planet and it’s so horribly sad! Course we have to deal with far right wackjobs who don’t believe in global warming here as well.
Your videos are so comforting to me. I used to live in Russia 20 years ago but now, relations between our countires seem at such a low, I despair of ever going back. Seeing the country again through you is amazing, so thank you.
thank you ❤️
no need to despair, I still live here and it's quite alright to be honest
Which country
It's mind-boggling that these are real people living and working right now on this planet. Thank you for such an enlightening and heartwarming story. May you and these people be blessed!
thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks for these culturally rich videos from the coldest part of this earth. We all live on this same planet but with different landscapes and environmental conditions. It's only love that connects us all ❤ Thanks Kiun B for these really warm videos. Love from India 🇮🇳
thank you so much 😍
Your presentation style was very engaging, thank you for making this video.
thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you KiunB for exploring the coldest city in the World. The way of life is unbelievable.
thank you 🙏🏻
Your videos always have inspiring family where everyone is responsible and helping out each other. In my country, it's so common for children to do nothing but studying. My nephews never have to touch any chores. Never even have to tidy up their own plates and take it away. Just eat and leave them on the table. I honestly have no idea what they will grow up to be like. I sincerely hope they learn something when they eventually have to leave home and doting parents.
I wish my culture had put more emphasis on building a good character. We used to do that, as I remember old textbooks in my time teaching about honestly, helping parents and the likes. These things don't exist anymore in modern curriculum for some reason.
Seeing all these happy people in such hard conditions helps put my own struggles into perspective. It makes me realize that you can be happy no matter what! Although, it is easier if you live in nature.
Now that's the kind of society I love° there just so simple and don't take anything for granted and work so hard with much appreciation and respect!!
First one up, last one to bed. That's what my mom did too. She couldn't go to sleep until she knew that all her children were safe at home
😊
Your mother is loving. I don't even like kids nor I want to be a mother, but if I ever become a mother, I would be same...i would protect and care them that is what a mother should do❤
Despite the harshness of nature, spending a day among reindeer with family and sleeping in a tent sounds lovely
Watching this video at +40 degrees temperature make feeling us refresh and cooling from Turkey😂🙏But We respect to all citizens of Holy Yakutia during their harsh life conditions at the coldest part of the World. We will be glad to see you in our beautiful Beaches , the Sun and Sea coasts if you have any plan to visit one day😇👍
thank you 🙏🏻
Her voice over makes the video so calming and soothing 💓😊
The production value of this piece reminds me of a special on either HBO , Discovery, Nat geo. Netflix etc…
Truly, a very insightful piece with magnificent narration.
Please keep posting your videos are so amazing 💖
thank you 🙏🏻
at a young age they already know how to be hardworking and responsible individual. Helping their family
I never ever comment but I need to today so I can appreciate all your hard work Kiun! This video, like all the others, was super special, and I enjoyed watching it from beginning to end! Absolutely amazing job ! Thank you loads for making us discover the beautiful Yakutian culture, I am super grateful for you xx
Your videos about Sakha are amazing....I wish I could learn to become a horsearcher, going with my horse around the great forests from the Carpathians to the Sikhote-Alin Mountains... Much love from Romania🇷🇴God bless you all☦️😇
Hopefully one day i visit this family’s because it is so peaceful there 🌹

I can't express how much I love your videos. The quality of them is impressive and the shots of this beautiful landscape is captivating. A snowy wilderness is soooo comforting for me to see somehow.
Outstanding video. Thank you for braving the cold and perils of the far north to share with us this very unique and beautiful way of life!

Greetings from Scotland! Thank you once again for showing us the resilience and fortitude of these incredibly hardy people, Kiun! Everyone looks happy and healthy and content with life, even under such harsh conditions! When the rest of the world goes to hell, these people will continue and thrive! No more than they deserve, after all, they live with the planet and nature, not constantly exploiting it!
thank you so much Peter 😊
@@KiunB Thank you Kiun! Your videos are always great quality and great content! - - Спасибо тебе, Киун! Твои видео всегда отличного качества и с отличным содержанием! 🤝
Kiun! This is such an important and beautiful documentary- I have seen no other visual media on Yakutian reindeer herders (in English). The last doc I watched with Yakutian people was Horse People in 2009. Since then, we obviously now have your beautiful drone shots. I really would suggest entering this in some sort of competition, maybe presenting it at the annual arctic conference or something similar.
thank you so much 🙏🏻
Been binge watching your videos. I sometimes watched it several times to be honest. Your content is always informative! Thank you. Keep it coming!
Thank you Kiun B. I hope your people will always be able to pursue their traditional way of life. I really appreciate the work you do posting these videos and always look forward to watching them. Please keep them coming. ben/ michigan
I always look forward to your stories Kiun. There’s something really comforting about knowing about people who live in the coldest place on earth. Keep it up!

It has been a bit since I have watched a video on this channel, but it is nice to see it gain so much attention! It really is curious the extremes humans can live in through will and circumstance. Thank you KiunB for documenting such amazing people! People like this really are a testament to the human spirit.
Great video Kiun. I love your videos because they are so AUTHENTIC & real. You're videos are one of a kind, unlike anything I've ever seen. You're special.
Absolutely beautiful!!! Your videos really need to be shown in schools. Thank you to the family for letting us see the day of your life! Older generation teaching the next generation! Truly thank you from Canada!
Thank you so much!😍

thank you ❤️
Thanks for sharing the life on this coldest place. Imagining to experience it. Love from Philippines 💛
I have always idolized the protagonist of sci-fi book "Alien From Earth". His life and struggles are always inspirational for me. But it seems you are living the same challenging life in reality. kudos to you.
Your videos are so engaging.... I keep waiting for your videos... There is so much we learn about Yakutia through you... Thank you for highlighting it so beautifully to us❤❤❤
thank you ❤️
It's amazing how beautiful the scenery is. I enjoyed watching every moment of this video.
Kiun, you're making a wonderful podcast! I love watching, for some 2 years now. Thank you !
thank you 😍
Thank you. I loved this episode. It was like a little documentary.
Your evocative portrayal of life in Yakutia’s frozen expanse truly captivates. Through vivid imagery and poignant narrative, you transport readers to the heart of an extraordinary existence. The resilience and depth of your storytelling are as profound as the frozen landscapes themselves. And I'm Floating Village Life is a testament to your mastery
thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for open us that fabulous window to those amazing landscapes and way of life. ❤
thank you for your kind words 🙏🏻
I absolutely love this channel. Kiun, you are amazing and do amazing documentaries!! 🩷
Despite of too many difficulties they are living happily. The video is so heartwarming.. Much love to them❤
Смотрела-смотрела и поняла, что в этой культуре хотела бы родиться мальчиком, девочки так и просидят в палатке….
Очень красивый закадровый голос, и содержание тоже такое бережное…
спасибо 😊
Sadlt. Id hate being a woman in their culture if most of them are confined to the tents all day.
Absolutely love your videos , you add so much value to each story with your craft and skills❤ Keep creating such amazing art! Definitely motivates in many aspects!
Thank you so much!❤️
Thank you @kiun B for showing such culturally videos from one of the coldest place on earth 🌎.. More power to these people 🙏🙏

I love all your videos! Thank you so much to you and these families for sharing
watching your documentaries grow in scope and production values since the early days has been so satisfying. you richly deserve this success! what an incredible story
thank you so much 🙏🏻
I am truly amazed at everything you accomplished in such harsh conditions thank you for sharing this with us. I wish I had the courage to do this. It's beautiful
Your video is beautiful to watch as always and in such high resolution. This gives such a beautiful picture of people, old and young, holding on to their values and traditions. They radiate so much warmth, happiness and love that they warm the simple tent in which they live.
I also have deep respect for the lady who runs the entire household single-handedly. Cooking with love and your heart. What wisdom.
And your English is very good and despite your accent I prefer hearing your voice to reading the subtitles. If you listen carefully to what you say, you will be much more involved as a viewer in the video.
Remarkable people and environment. A lot of the day is really just devoted to tasks to ensure survival and everyone contributes. These reindeer herders are so adapted and close to their environment they don't want to live anywhere else. I've been to some cold places but I can't imagine -70C...
Your narration and cinematography are captivating. I look forward to every video you upload, always learning new things that I would have never heard of otherwise.✨ keep up the lovely work
I really enjoy learning about a lifestyle and culture totally different from my own, and I've watched all your videos! Thank you for showing us about life in Yakutia.
thank you ❤️
A harsh lifestyle but so full or warmth, love and family. Thank you from down under.
thank you 🙏🏻
Very important (and interesting!) documentation of these indigenous people and their way of living. Thank you!

Great video. Very fascinating insight into the lives of the reindeer herders. 👍👍👍
thank you 🙏🏻
Wow my favourite video so far.
Much better than netflix!
Especially when they go for a walk at 3:45, and 6:13 when feeding the reindeer is pretty cool,
Nice ending too!
Thank you so much!!😍😍🙏🙏🙏
When I was young when there's no internet and cable tv are expensive, I always thought no people are living in this part of the world, I can only look at the map and think what kind of animals live there, thank you for showing us the simple and beautiful life our Yukatans brothers are living
🙏🏻
Thank you for this wonderful video!! So well made and I love that you ended again with local people singing and playing music like you did with my favorite video from last summer. Always a treat to watch these mini-documentaries and I hope one day you can condense them into one major documentary about Yakutia.
Cheers from New Jersey, USA!
thank you for your kind words 🙏🏻
Thank you for sharing. This video is absolutely amazing 👏
Your videos are therapy for me.. and it is a dream place that I wish to visit once in my lifetime
Kiun B you make your videos so enjoyable to watch! I always learn so much from them! Please continue your excellent work!😀😀
I am struggling to understand how are reindeers capable of consuming enough calories to sustain themselves in that frozen land. Not only it is a order of magnitude harder, slower and more calorie-intensive to dig out the feed in cold, but it is also a lot more demanding to maintain the temperature. Do they lose a lot of weight during the winter?
Amazing video I really enjoyed ❤
Thank you for another interesting video. Your English is more than good, dear! ❤ I love to watch your videos of Yakutia.
thank you so much 🙏🏻
