Just to see the change in Juliet since I've been watching, which feels like forever, i love this family, it is amazing to me... she looks like a completely different child. That's what my one of my granddaughters did to me. One day she was a little girl the next day she was a little woman hard to believe it just was Unreal. Time flies. Don't miss a thing.
Hi Jocelyn! Hope you had a splendid birthday. You're my daughter's age and you share my mom's birthday; she's 90 now! Thanks for all your hard work, positive attitude, and family fun. Sending smiles from Woodstock Ontario 🇨🇦😊
HELLO all of you that follows the crazy Lamp Lady I was so excited I got to run into our Beautiful crazy Lamp Lady at a Goodwill and let me tell you this Lady is as sweet as they come and Beautiful inside and out anyway I love it when I get to see her which isn't to often but she made my day BUT I didn't know it was her Birthday so A Very Happy late Birthday to you Crazy Lamp Lady!
I had many many owls for years. Have saved only my old favs. I have one lovely Lladro, three Royal Copenhagens, one Lalique and a few folk art lovelies. Lots in my neighborhood. They are wonderful creatures.
When you say "Somebody donated their collection" it's more likely that somebody ELSE donated their collection because they inherited it and didn't want it
Glass dolphins like that sold for $.99 each in discount stores in the late 80s and early 90s. I bought a few because I thought they were such a good deal. And now I see people selling them and thinking they’re Murano! They were made in China.
You can test stone to tell if it's dyed or not. On the bottom, touch the color with a cotton swab dipped in bleach. If the color fades, it's dyed, doesn't, it's natural. It's Avon Cotillion as in coming out to society at the Symphony Cotillion. It's a sweet, flowery scent like Estee Lauder White Shoulder only for poor people who couldn't afford the good stuff. Church ladies wore Cotillion like it was sun tan lotion. Sunday morning services smelled more like a funeral service and come to think about it, Cotil lion is a more descriptive way to say it.
Little laurel is making these videos great, everytime you show her.what a beautiful smile that baby has.she looks like daddy toi.she precious.oh yeah love the goods you picked up.
OMG First day of school! Middle School is a whole new world for a sixth grader🤞. Good luck to both of them, may the school year be fun and blessed with great memories 😊
Hapy weekend, thanks for the shopping trip, a hundred years ago id be out shooting pool and having a pint..now I wait for crazy lamp lady and co. Videos. 😆
I was in my car yesterday, stopped at a stop light, and I noticed that the car in front of me had a Pennsylvania license plate, (I'm in Indiana) and the plate had an owl on it, and I immediately thought of Jocelyn and her owls! :)
I was just at those goodwills yesterday and got the last bit of that owl collection… It was a framed embroidered owl picture! ❤️❤️ I tried to post a pic of it, but can’t for some reason🤷🏻♀️. Thank you for making your videos. My girls and I enjoy watching them together! Then we go thrifting and find our own treasures😊
Always happy to see a new video from you. After watching your videos plus Dagney's and others I am starting into the reselling game. Have years of treasures to sell. Thanks for the encouragement.
The GLASS globe plant waterer is a pretty thing. I never found them effective for watering plants; however, they do make pretty additions to outdoor plants. I never stick them into dirt because they will break. I push bamboo sticks into pots at varied heights, then put the globes onto the sticks. They’re like little gazing balls. They are quite expensive to buy nowadays. They should be good for resale.
I love the glass plant water pieces. I have some beautiful ones (imo) & since I have over 40 plants in my Boho apartment, they are well used! :). I hope you had a great birthday! xo
Happy Birthday Jocelyn 🎉🎊🎉 You have such beautiful children, Juliette is a firecracker, she just cracks me up… You have no idea how your videos have helped me recover from my hip replacement this summer, I would have gone crazy without binging your videos❤️
The Cotillion Cologne is a vintage scent by Avon. Also, a Cotillion is the same as a dance that people in the south went to. Very fancy. And, southern moms would have their children take cotillion to learn to dance.
Last year at the thrift store I worked at someone donated a really big owl collection (at least 25 owls) and I thought of you Jocelyn you would have gone CRAZY!!!! There were so many cool ones!
The little milk glass owl, carrying a basket for your toothpicks, was made by Westmoreland, between 1940 and 1980. The molds were sold to someone else later on, and reused. I have one with the sticker. I think he's great!
So happy for Juliette and Ashton Going back to school. And Juliette gets to use the microwave at school. What a great Walk-through Lot's of great finds. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
Foxglove is actually a medicinal plant. It has properties to slow the heart rate. Of course too much of it and it would stop altogether. Medication, Digoxin is the chemically engineered form of the plant. Love your videos . Love from new Zealand
Joselyn I love watching you shop, I have actually learned a few things! You remind me of my daughter, and I think the way you just kept doing your thing with the loud children in the background was Amazing! I remember those days with my own children. LOL Keep doing what you do, it keeps us entertained. Your family is awesome!
My grandmother had that nativity set too. I think it is painted plaster pieces, I inherited it and it chips so easily! My memory says she painted them, but that’s been 60 years.
I've grown up with the head goodwill owner and worked there forever,my mom has always worked for savers and goodwill and we were close with the big shots,my brother also worked with the main bosses for many years. My mother still works for goodwill and now my other is a store manager for them,we both also worked for savers. To bad you did not work for them or know a person that does that you could go shop with you get a really good discount.
Rikki…been giving a thumbs up two to three years now. Happy that you all are continuing your uphill success. Know how much hard work is involved to sustain it.
My oldest daughter, Johanna, was born Sept. 1, 1994. She's moving back to Pennsylvania (Hershey area) after 15 years away. I have a special place in my heart for Virgo women!
You and Andrew are such hard workers 👏 💛 Dealing with All the things plus Auctions I'm not an organized person Don't think I could deal with it All Organizing and pricing Plus listing and everything else Going in the stores and buying Going to Auctions much more fun for me
Did you pass on the Starbucks mug because it might sit for a while? There are other items that you picked up on this trip that are less of a return, so I was just wondering what your thought was behind that.
The second plate at 6:30 had morning glory flowers, not foxglove. As for foxglove, it’s toxic if ingested. That’s what heart medicine is actually made from. :)
You looked at some pieces of Corelle dishware. I recently read an article saying that the older pieces have a very high lead content, so be wary. I don't think Corning Ware has a problem, just the Corelle.
Thats incredible that people buy such wall packet in the time of hitech stuff....I used to have one wall pocket too in Holland still you can find them😁
As a recent visitor to Maine (as well as NH and VT) I can testify that your Goodwill shelves are pretty bare. Apparently a shortage of workers has the stock piled in the back and some locations are refusing donations.
@@nanderson8286 one GW near us closed donations for a month this summer. The bad thing is there's not a lot of other places to donate. Hopefully we can get things turned around soon.
In the 2nd GW, there may have been Lang Nesting Boxes next to the 2 cups you picked up before you went to purses. If in really good condition and all 3-4 boxes intact, they can bring $24-$30. I usually even pick up the singles if new or like new. Easy to ship too.
The pear candle was a Harry Slatkin Homeworx, I’ve sold a blueberry one that actually had no wax left and it still went for around $30! They sell very well.
My Mom just passed away she was an owl collector for about 50 years.. She had at least 200 pieces of owl jewelry, figures, pictures, paintings and prints. The family was asked to go through the house and pick one or more to remember her by then the rest were donated. She also collected churches but she had less than 100 various types. I will stick with my vinyl obsession.

They were restocking, and you were restalking!🤣🤣👏👏👍🇦🇺
😂😂
🤣
Third graders are MY people!! I taught 3rd/4th grade for 36 years, and LOVED every minute!! Enjoy your school year, Juliette and Ashton!! 🎊🎉🙌🏼♥️💜
Seeing Aston and Juliette going off to school together I realized just how fast they're growing up. ❤
Just to see the change in Juliet since I've been watching, which feels like forever, i love this family, it is amazing to me... she looks like a completely different child. The flowers on the second glass plate are morning glory 🥀

That pet dish that you thought the canister jar was missing , it's not, you use a 2lt. Pop bottle and fill it with water 👍😊
Little laurel is making these videos great, everytime you show her.what a beautiful smile that baby has.she looks like daddy toi.she precious.oh yeah love the goods you picked up.
Jocelyn..I have been wanting to tell you forever how sweet your kids are. They are always smiling. I love that. You are a wonderful mama. ❤️❤️❤️
OMG First day of school! Middle School is a whole new world for a sixth grader🤞. Good luck to both of them, may the school year be fun and blessed with great memories 😊

How adorable the kids looked on there first day of school. Little Laurel has a ways to go before she's ready for kindergarten. Love your vidoes.
I was in my car yesterday, stopped at a stop light, and I noticed that the car in front of me had a Pennsylvania license plate, (I'm in Indiana) and the plate had an owl on it, and I immediately thought of Jocelyn and her owls! :)
Glass tray is not escargot. It’s made by Dansk. It came with six little art glass cordial glasses that fit in the holes.. I just sold a set.
The Wildflowers wall pocket was made on Long Beach Island NJ.
😂 you had me LOL “she’s got that RBF real bad”
I believe The Angel on the sled is 1960 Von Jullar from Spain
Love those flower plates my grandma would love those she loves morning glorys she plants them every year.
Hi Jocelyn, I love owls as well, have a collection. Lovely video. Thanks for sharing.

Those Japanese tea cups would make great succulent planters.
Another enjoyable retail therapy episode with Jocelyn! 😁
I love owls too! Love Juliette’s hair. She looked so cute!
Always happy to see a new video from you. After watching your videos plus Dagney's and others I am starting into the reselling game. Have years of treasures to sell. Thanks for the encouragement.

The Goodwill near me had a Vera Bradley for $29.99! I found myself blurting out loud, "That's crazy!"
Good condition Vera Bradleys around me are always over $20! Even frayed...24.99 and up. Yup. Crazy!
Happy Birthday Jocelyn 🎉🎊🎉
You have such beautiful children, Juliette is a firecracker, she just cracks me up…
You have no idea how your videos have helped me recover from my hip replacement this summer, I would have gone crazy without binging your videos❤️
That plate you say reminds you of foxglove is actually morning glories.
Candle signature may have been a Harry Slatkin. A peach shaped candle sells on QVC for over $40.
Your Goodwills are so neat. Mine are so messy.
Love all the owls. Have a fantastic evening with your family. 🦉🦊🌻🍂🍁
The Cotillion Cologne is a vintage scent by Avon. Also, a Cotillion is the same as a dance that people in the south went to. Very fancy. And, southern moms would have their children take cotillion to learn to dance.
We still have spring cotillion in our little southern town.
Last year at the thrift store I worked at someone donated a really big owl collection (at least 25 owls) and I thought of you Jocelyn you would have gone CRAZY!!!! There were so many cool ones!

Omg they have gotten so big. I enjoy your videos so much as well as seeing your family grow. I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you.
The glass tray is for a set of shot glasses with glass ball bottoms I believe.
Your ❤️ children are precious!!! Tell them good luck on their new school year!!!
So happy for Juliette and Ashton
Going back to school. And Juliette gets to use the microwave at school. What a great Walk-through
Lot's of great finds. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
Goodwills here in Indianapolis are charging SAKs prices.
With those prices, they’re items will sit on the shelf
I love the Totoro wallet! I hope you list it. My daughter-in-law would love it!
Foxglove is actually a medicinal plant. It has properties to slow the heart rate. Of course too much of it and it would stop altogether. Medication, Digoxin is the chemically engineered form of the plant.
Love your videos . Love from new Zealand

I love Totoro and have that exact wallet in my collection. Love how you are trading up your Louis Vuitton wallet for the Totoro one.
My grandmother had that nativity set too. I think it is painted plaster pieces, I inherited it and it chips so easily! My memory says she painted them, but that’s been 60 years.

Kids looked all ready for back to school 🏫 oh and all the owls are great 😃💕
Adorable. The kids are getting so big..Wishing them a great school year...
The second plate looked A LOT more like morning glorys than foxglove.
Yes. Morning glory! I have them right outside my window.
Love TOTORO!!! Used to watch it with my daughter. Yes, I would use that wallet too :D
I picked up a Totoro mug and I'm keeping it too!
Did you pass on the Starbucks mug because it might sit for a while? There are other items that you picked up on this trip that are less of a return, so I was just wondering what your thought was behind that.
Happy Birthday, you share your birthday with our oldest son !
Sept 1 was a special day - my parents celebrated their 50th anniversary AND it's Jocelyn's birthday! ❤️ Hope you had fun!
The second plate at 6:30 had morning glory flowers, not foxglove. As for foxglove, it’s toxic if ingested. That’s what heart medicine is actually made from. :)
Lots of adorable owls ! 🦉
They are growing up bless them.
The painted floral plates - the second one looked like bindweed
The dishes with the blue bows that are valuable are the Haviland ones with the pink roses you had listed
I'd taken a few weeks off from thrifting and went to GW today, and they have definitely lost their minds. Two huge Vases priced at $80 each
Whoa! 😲 Crazy
Ha ha...they have indeed!
That price is crazy!!!
Ohhhh I haven't heard of Cotillion cologne in forever!
Happy belated birthday from Santa Fe NM! And may you have a blessed coming year for you and your kiddos new school year!
I love the Mexican colorful chicken wish I could find one.
Happy birthday, Jocelyn ❤
Those plates are beautiful!
You looked at some pieces of Corelle dishware. I recently read an article saying that the older pieces have a very high lead content, so be wary. I don't think Corning Ware has a problem, just the Corelle.
Also the older Corell dishes does not break into peices it breaks into dangerous shards.
Jocelyn, you need to come to Another Chance Thrift Store in Gettysburg PA!!!
The big water thing is just a 2 liter coke bottle filled with water and turned upside down on the dish
The kids are precious!
Thats incredible that people buy such wall packet in the time of hitech stuff....I used to have one wall pocket too in Holland still you can find them😁
i hope your babies had a great first day!
The kids looked excited for a new school year. I Loved all the Owls!😍 I hope Andrew is feeling better.
The dog figurine bottle was Avon. Cotillion was an Avon fragrance.
Goodwill in our area (Southern Maine) has increased their prices insanely. It's not even worth shopping there anymore.
Thank you for the video Jocelyn. Loved seeing Ashton and Juliette off to school. They look so gorgeous. You found some very nice treasures today ❤🐨
In the 2nd GW, there may have been Lang Nesting Boxes next to the 2 cups you picked up before you went to purses. If in really good condition and all 3-4 boxes intact, they can bring $24-$30. I usually even pick up the singles if new or like new. Easy to ship too.
Your children are so precious❤️
Always fun!
You mentioned finding fire and light for the second time the other day. Is it on one of your videos?
Foxglove or digitalis is deadly to animals but it's also used in some heart medications. I love them too.
Hope you had a happy birthday!
They both look very grown up. Her hair was beautiful!
Cute Hull piece & owls!
The pear candle was a Harry Slatkin Homeworx, I’ve sold a blueberry one that actually had no wax left and it still went for around $30! They sell very well.
Thank you Rachel-. about the info on that candle holder. ;)
Omg I had that little puppy cologne bottle when I was a kid and totally forgot until now
That’s a Harry Slakin candle made for white barn. They go for some $$
My Mom just passed away she was an owl collector for about 50 years.. She had at least 200 pieces of owl jewelry, figures, pictures, paintings and prints.
