This reminds me of when I was stationed in the UK, one of England's stereotypical rainstorms hit when my wife and I were visiting a medieval cathedral, there was like choir practice or something going on and it echoed throughout the cathedral.
My first year of grad school was spent at the University of Windsor, in Ontario, Canada. It had previously been Assumption College and my dorm was part of the school's original structure. A tunnel in the dorm's basement led directly to the church and chapel, which were open night and day, seven days a week for prayer and meditation. It was a dream come true for me. I lived on campus from September, 1976-April, 1977. I hope other folks were as fortunate as me to come across such a haven. I never saw anyone else there, ever, except for Confession on Saturday and of course, Sunday Mass. But the rest of the week I seemed to have been the only person visiting. Silence, prayer and meditation are, literally, lifesavers. Particularly to a stranger in a strange land. A belated thank you to the wonderful priests who kept it open. May God bless you all.

I usually never comment on youtube videos, but this time i will make an exception. I just lost my cat an hour ago. She was 13 years old, a stray I adopted off the street when I was 12. She was my best friend growing up. I have been living away from her for years now, as she wouldn't have been happy in a small flat in a city. She lived with my parents in the countryside all her life. Today, my mom texted me that the cat had a seizure and wasn't well, she was clearly in a lot of pain. Mom and dad took her to the vet to be put down. None of us wanted her to suffer any more than that. She had been battling an illness for a while, so we were kind of expecting this day to come soon, but it came so much sooner that I anticipated. That most devastating thing to me is that I couldn't be there for her last moments, since I am stuck hundreds of kilometers away from my family. I did receive pictures of her at the vet, and in a cardboard coffin decorated with pink roses mom has growing in her garden. My parents even built a little tombsone for her out of some bricks they had around, it's more than I coud've ever asked for. She now rests under a bed of forget-me-nots, it's something I decided on a long ago, that she would be buried under those flowers. I am from Finland, and the Finnish name of forget-me-nots, lemmikki, translates to literally mean "pet". Meaningful in both languages, a pet that will not be forgotten. Since I couldn't be there for my beloved pet's last moments, I am now spending my evening looking at pictures of her and listening to this track. It brings me peace.

I gasped out loud with excitement after few seconds since I instantly loved this! I can't explain this feeling perfectly but this music speaks to my soul. I'm not religious, but spiritual. I was at a Late November Book sale at a Toronto College in Canada, and had time before it opened. I wandered into the Chapel. Totally awesome grey stone, high ceiling, with a choir loft at the front, above the lectern. Blew me away when the choir began practice for their Christmas singing. The atmosphere was electric. I stayed for the whole practice and missed the opening of the book sale. That was in the late 70's.
I get a completely different vibe from this. "We now have but one choice! We must face the long dark of Moria. Be on your guard! There are older and fouler things than Orcs in the deep places of the world."
As someone who has actually spent time in monasteries and ecclesiastical settings, these places are 100% creepy after dark. All that Gothic architecture, vast spaces and dim lighting is unnerving.
Oh my oh my I think i need a Dolby Surround version of this! :P Nah without kidding, this is awesome, just stumbled upon it, while searching for documentaries about monasteries. Great work you made!

Ooooooooo Love 💜... 🕊👰
Holy of Holys and Eternal Fount, Perfect !
It feels as if I am going deeper and deeper into illuminated darkness which feels so peaceful........the sound of the sudden thunder breaks the silence but not in an unpleasant way.....this is is really superb......there is just peace and nothing else.....i also feel a bit scared...I am not sure why. ..
Maybe you are afraid of what lies outside the monastery.
I absolutely love this and all these medieval cathedral sounds so haunting and beautiful I wanna jump right into that world
So amazing. Don't stop making these. SO MUCH TALENT. I look forward to this all day long.
My favorite video ever! 🖤 I always listen to it before sleeping, it's so relaxing. 💤
Thank music ❤
WoW this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Totally enjoy your videos! Love this one.
I love Monastery It's fascinating to me. So beautiful so eery I feel like I would love to just sit there and just sit. Just listen to everything. Such dark mysteries behind those walls. But I could almost imagine God himself walking around.
Absolute dream to see a monastery
Una serie di grafiche artistiche e musiche del medioevo davvero toccanti! Siete davvero straordinari e grazie per le pubblicazioni sul canale youtube.....ciao
This is perfectly dark I love it ❤
This sounds so peaceful and periodic. J I’m used to find this stuff eery but it’s actually very tranquil
Excellent in all ways, the sounds are fantastic, the medieval setting is perfect! The mood in this video is enchanting and surreal! Thank you for sharing!!!
You're welcome! 🙏⚔
The echoes of those voices mixed so well
Gorgeous! More medieval content; I need this but 12 hours long.
soon the million of views
i find so much comfort in this thank you for the upload x
This ambient is the reason why I love Gothic, it's not only about taking knowledge about types of demons or angels, but also finding answers about life when getting peace, graceful and serenity from sacred/divine themed things like this ambient video. Thank you so much!

Great video. I brought along a copy of The Name of the Rose to help pass the time...
OH THIS IS HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL !!!🖤
Thank you so much 🖤
I am in to my soul.and dark. Great work. From India
the best monastery one I've heard so far. thanks
Some of those Monasteries are spooky places. Spooky Especially at night.
Shouldn't be spooky. They are houses of God. It is much more spooky outside those walls....
I listen to it when I study. Thank you very much for this AMAZING work💕
You're welcome 💗
This is the best ASMR video I've ever run across on here. It's beautifully balanced.
Nah without kidding, this is awesome, just stumbled upon it, while searching for documentaries about monasteries. Great work you made!
Thank you 🙂
Make me feel like I’m in medieval times fr perfect setting perfect weather

Thank you friend :)
In the midst of this night, the wind howls loud
We gather in silence, a helpless crowd
Among our men, few sing a quiet hymn
To call off the demons, and the reapers grim
Seek shelter with us, the RPG clan
