Here is another new brand from Finland which is adding more cool and clever ideas into the mix with their Quarken 27. Designed and built in Finland these guys appear to be doing some great things with their first model which is available in t-top, cabin and open versions.
With 4 hulls already on their way to Sydney we will be seeing more of this company in the near future and I look forward to an opportunity to getting on the water with one of these to bring you my thoughts on how it performs.
From what I saw this looks like a brand worth keeping an eye on.

I am testing the 27 cabin two weeks from now in Florida. I can't wait. I will be interested to see your review of this boat. I love your videos and put a great deal of stock in your reviews. So far, you have been spot on with your reviews of Axopar and Nimbus. Both of those are great boats, I hope this one is of their caliber. Cheers.
G'day Ken, yes keep a close eye on this brand. I think they could be the next Nimbus in terms of quality and Axopar for practical features. Leave a comment here after you've had a drive as you will get to drive it before me. I'd be interested to understand your thoughts.

Had my test run today and I was quite impressed. The boat handles beautifully. I was surprised how much power and efficiency they were able to get out of this Yamaha 300. We got the boat to 44 knots and were able to cruise on a pretty rough day at around 28 knots. Perfect day for the test out in the ocean. There were a lot of swells and it was a bit rough while the bay was relatively calm. Was able to see what this boat could do in varying sea conditions. Open Newburgh and handled amazingly. No cavitation or real loss of speed during tight turns. By the way, I was in the the cabin version not the t-top. I will be buying this boat.

Very Much like the offset passageway forward, Dan. Very functional as designed....and my, doesn't she have a exceptionally large & suitable social area for her length! For those of us in seasonal climates, how do you imagine arranging protection for - well, virtually everything when the weather turns cold and grey? Seems unsuited for canopy covers, except for the helm area. I envy you all that Cannes marine jewelry you get to drool on.
So they have cabin version Jack. I think the way to go would be to keep a cabin version down South and also have a t-top version up North for the warmer climate.
That little Quarken is Farken Fanfuckingtastic for a Fast weekend runaround, luv the Yamaha on the back would make an ideal tender for my Bearing 77 if I had one, great boat choices for your working time in Cannes, Lucky Bastard, extremely jealous mate from a LAND DOWN UNDER!!!
It's Quarken Fantastic lol :) Yes i'm feeling so lucky to be given all these opportunities to drive and check out so many boats here. Especially when half of the people can't even understand my Aussie accent but they still trust me with their boat! Bering is on my list of boats to check out and sea trial one day. I'm going to chase those guys as i'd love to go for a drive

Difficult to answer as I have not driven the Quarken yet. Quarken quality looks great and I think they will be a great success in the future. Saxdor I have driven and spent an entire day aboard and I honestly believe it will be boat of the year 2023. For now.. i'd buy the Saxdor
