It was difficult to take the FL perspective, but i think her mindset is that she may as well just stick out with the contract schedule, while not allowing herself to desire more. After that contract period, the ML chasing her was somewhat acceptable viewing. The subtitles can be confusing though.
Such a shame, at the end they could only be together because FL becomes the real daughter of a rich family. And the ML started to change and chase the FL after he knows there's a possibility of her is a rich daughter. What if FL not rich, will he ever fight for her??

@@pearls1446 It was quite clear that he had no intention of marrying the other girl, he just wanted to calm his sick grandfather, he probably planned to get out of the engagement but FL agreed to do the DNA test before he did anything, but it's clear that ML would never marry the other girl, in fact he stopped being president and went against his family to stay with FL, he made it clear that he didn't care about her being the lost girl, and he just wanted her to not suffer any more injustices
