ML is a great actor, but his roles are always of men of questionable character. He's always angry, 😑. The vast majority of roles only have toxic relationships with a lot of psychological and physical abuse. Saying he is dating someone is a mistake. What he has is that the possession of the person. His dramas become quite tiring to watch. But they are really well made, and acting is always top notch.
I agree. He's a household name in short dramas but I've not been able to sit through most of them. His acting is great but he really needs to find a less dramatic script to also showcase a green flag ML type of role. So far all I've seen is walking red flag ML type dramas which sadly I am unable to enjoy or complete. Still looking for him to be in a green flag ML role.
He starts out really bitter for being mercilessly dumped by her 6 years ago, but his bark is way worse than his bite. He says he wants revenge but literally can't bring himself to follow-through, lol. He pushes for a flash marriage to better exact his revenge and... flirts with her and spoils her and their son instead. Granted he's a little demanding, but it makes sense with his emotional turmoil. By an hour in, there's still some tensions between the leads, but they are obviously on their way to a real marriage not just a fake one. The ML is obviously smitten. So far I actually feel a bit let down with the lead actress; she's like a cold fish and I'm missing both guilt and desire from her. But I haven't finished the show yet, so we'll see if that improves.
