Come back for churning and lots of yummy ice cream treats in How to Make Ice Cream (Pt 2) tomorrow! th-cam.com/video/Kv3k7V7B_cE/w-d-xo.html🍧🍦🍨 Erin may even be joining for the live chat 👀
Cannot believe how timely this is....it is HOT HOT HOT here in Jamaica, and beach weather notwithstanding, I'm a shade girl and Ice Cream - OH YES PLEASE 🤩💯👍🥳. Thanks ever so much Erin. The thoroughness of this video is so appreciated 🤗🏝
I whip two cups of cream until stiff, fold in a can of condensed milk, and add crushed Oreos or chopped Snickers or whatever. Spoon into a container and freeze. So delicious and easy.
I appreciate and mimic your enthusiasm for all things sherbert and good sherbert too. I am an amatuer ice cream maker but want good recipes as I love to make it w/the kids but have a hard time finding good quality easy instructions worth repeating. I need some tips and so excited to try again! Thanks, your biggest ice cream fan! I will keep watching, super fun. I take ice cream for lunch at work sometimes. Well more like a late after lunch snack. But I will pack ice cream and desserts to have after take out lunch. I have done lava cake with my homemade vanilla ice cream. I work in a model unit we show for our 2 bdrm 2.5 bath townhome that doubles as my office in the master bdrm. But renovated kitchen stainless steel appliances. So i cook and it smells good and I eat like at home. Its nice. But moving in oct 12th to a unit on the property. So excited. Ready to bake. LoL thanks!!
It’s funny cause I’m a serious ice cream lover but I want it more in the winter than the summer. I don’t like ice cream in the heat. Ice Cream is a HEALTH FOOD!!
If anyone is wondering why Erin doesn't demonstrate a recipe for gelato, the reason is that making authentic gelato requires specialized equipment. For example, Gelato is stored at a warmer temperature than ice cream, so your standard freezer won't usually do. It's possible to make delicious gelato-inspired ice creams at home, but Erin wisely avoids conflating that with authentic gelato.
Not to be a poop but one of the things I love about Bake it up a notch is the alternatives that are given and other than sorbet I was surprised there weren’t any non- dairy options discussed. Did I miss that portion? Would love to see a third instalment on n’ice cream! Love you Erin!❤
I'm a arbys cook and as standard practice I will lay on the ground and lay the beef across my face and snuff as hard as possible before placing them gently on the arbys sandwich before you eat I check for quality I am quality control and have a food handlers lisnense
@@baby_muppy there’s only one correct spelling, “sherbet”. Some people mistakenly say/write “sherbert” but it’s not technically correct and an educational video would ideally use the correct spelling.

Amazing video!
Love watching Erin. I need to go back and practice my ice cream recipes again. Thank you for the great idea!

Part 2 includes a no-churn ice cream!
I do the same but add nuts, crushed sugar cones and hot fudge. I make 2 layers of that and freeze. Drum stick ice cream cone perfection
@@food52 I'll definitely watch!
@@geneferrero5619 That sounds so good. I also saw a video of a woman making a strawberry cheesecake ice cream with the same easy base technique.
😮

Brilliant video but I loved vanilla gelato as a kid and was hoping you were going to show us how to make this..

Exactly!!
Thanks for explaining this!
And ice cream is better than gelato.

Can you explain more on the sherbert as it's is not something we have here in new zeland
sherbert is essentialy just sorbet with a small amount of dairy added to make it a little creamier
❤️
Love the inclusion of Indian kulfi. The world is sleeping on it.
🎉🎉🎉🎉

Stracciatella is the best
Hey Erin 😊 I scream, I scream for ice cream!
Natalie! Erin did this on set but it didn’t make it in the episode ☺️ We hope you’ll join us for Pt. 2 of Ice Cream today

🤨
Audio is a bit low on the recordings this year. Bump it up. Compress more...something.
Great video but
NO CORN SYRUP 🤮
She can do no wrong.
We think the same 🤗
Erin, this is a great episode! But, sherbet doesn't have two "r"s, just one. It's not sherbert, FYI. Keep up the good work! :)
people say it both ways... really doesnt matter, just like caramel vs 'carmel'... FYI
@@baby_muppy Yes, but I’m talking about the spelling.

It's a Mandela Effect.
Many of us grew up with it absolutely called sherbert.
Haagen Daaz is THE best
There will be more ideas of frozen treats to make with Haagen Daaz today 🍦
love this so much, but i beg you, please pronounce the italian words correctly.
I was excited to try this method of making ice cream until you added the corn syrup…yuk. Sadly I’ll have to look else where for a delicious recipe😞
