I have mixed feelings. At first i was like "wow!! This is really well done and its amazing they put this together so fast! I wonder what other songs this band has." But then i find its all AI generated.... i... i feel tricked... i had no idea AI audio is THIS good...is this the future? Just AI songs covering even more niche topics?
I do mention in the description that it would be awesome if actual musicians wanted to record this. I wrote the lyrics myself. I was the musical director for the AI musical arrangement and synthetic vocals. I did some work in Audacity to piece the various parts of the song together because Udio didn't want to give me a consistent chorus. So there was a significant amount of human involvement, not just a button push. It took two days. Please try not to feel tricked. I disclosed how the song was made, which not everyone does. But awareness is a good thing. It's the next-gen in music generation, taking synthesizers and combining loops to the next level. I still want it to be performed "live" though!
