Caleb did say when talking about 1st group spring workouts ," I better not be back in that group...". Which insinuates that he plans on coming back for at least next spring workouts.
His confidence and dedication to the game is unreal for a young man in the position he’s in. Very much like Jalen Hurts and Baker. He will have a great life and succeed at a high level
I'm an OKIE. I'm for every Oklahoma team, until you play my OSU Cowboys. Having said that I have followed Caleb when I saw him play in the Red River showdown. I wish you played for the Cowboys. Lol. Caleb you are the quarter back for the team you should be playing for. I'm, personally very proud of being able to call you an Oklahoma Sooner QB. You are actually better than the ones that have played for the SOONERS and has a Heisman Trophy. All you need to do is go out and have fun playing and win the games. Oklahoma SOONERS and you are really lucky that Coach Riley left. Coach Brent Venables and coach Jeff Lebby are going to take the Sooners to the the National Championship game and WIN. I really believe that it is going to happen in 2 years. You will have a Championship Ring on your finger if you continue to play for the OKLAHOMA SOONERS. I think he will beat anyone out as the starter because of his work ethic as long as he protects his body a little bit better because opposing teams are afraid of him that's why Baylor had three guys chase him out of bounds and step on his throwing hand and old and obvious sec trick no quarterback no loss just watch Alabama every game they try it at least once a game hurt opposing quarterback out or can't think as well afterwards then they lose anyway keep working Caleb you are the starter as long as you want it we all know that keep learning and keep playing Boomer!!!!!!!

First I absolutely love the confidence that Caleb has. All of you are great role models for young athletes. My son is a junior and plays baseball, his dream is to play at Dale Mitchell for OU. Every day we drive by the football stadium and the baseball field and it is a great reminder for him to keep working hard. Congrats on completing your degrees. So proud of all of you.

As I watched the Spring Game last year, my thoughts were this guy needs to be QB1. Rattler didn't look impressive at all, and Caleb looked and acted like a true starter. One of the most impressive young men I've ever seen in the years I've followed OU football. Love your show guys. Thank you so much for this podcast.

Drink a glass of good electrolytes prior to doing one of Schmitty's workouts, should help keep you from getting as sick as you might otherwise. I hope he does stick around because he is not just a good QB, but an excellent LEADER and that is the real difference between good and great teams. Go Sooners, I do hope off season workouts serve as a bonding experience. It 'll make everyone better. Talk to some former players about that.
Sad. Kids going to have a college career playing for Rebuilding a USC Program that at best might go 6-6 or 7-5 in two years. He’s also going to be doing it in front of a mostly or at best, half full Stadium.
All for getting tricked by Mr. CFP 0-4, Coach Wet Origami himself;, Lincoln Riley. A Coach who has built nothing, and a Coach that all he does is ride the Coat-Tails of Two Oklahoma Heisman Winners (Neither one of which he recruited). He’s a snake, will say anything to get a kid to commit to him, but he has no loyalty, he would never commit to a kid.
I think he’s insecure, lacking character and scared of competition. He knows he’s not an Offensive God. He knew his Gimmick Offense would get Exposed in the SEC so he bounced to a program with much less pressure and competition. But Now Lincoln still has to rebuild a program that is at the bottom of the easiest P5, The PAC 12. UCLA, Oregon, Utah, and Washington are going to give him problems. He won’t be able to recruit anyone outside of California and Vegas and players from there just aren’t like players from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee. Mentally and Physically.
He’s going to be on the hot seat in 3 Seasons, will probably cheat on his wife, get divorced while out there and become Lane Kiffin 2.0.

I was at the Texas game with Ideal seats behind the OU bench, 50 yard line. I knew at half time we were going to win. OU teams was bouncing into the tunnel at half time. Caleb juiced the team beyond belief.
This young man is a stud, does exude confidence, brings great intelligence to the game, and the leadership and class is off the charts. He among other players already at OU matches exactly the type of guys Coach Venables wants in the program. There is zero doubt the program is going to be much more successful with the existing group, Coach Venables, and the players he will be bringing into the program to join them. As a lifetime Sooner fan, I was so pumped to see him get his chance this season. It could have come more quickly, but that doesn't matter because he has arrived and will lead OU to greatness. I wish him and his Sooner teammates great success in the seasons to come.

CW shows a work ethic that's frankly not seen very much from any age. He's not just a role model for up and coming football players, he's a role model for the whole nation no matter the generation. He just defined and provided the road map as to what it takes to be the best in whatever it is you want to do. Put the hard work in to prepare as that is what will give you confidence and the ability to execute at the highest level when called upon. He's humbly prepared and that's what makes him so dangerous at his craft. This guy is special, really special. I'm a huge CW fan no matter what he decides. Terrific podcast and interview guys!
