You should really try the Inca out if you want to do a tall game. Their new mechanics let them have insanely cheap advisors. I think I was paying like 30 ducats total for three level 5 advisors. On top of that you can remove development penalties in Mountains, Highlands, and Hills.

Quickly going to share my thoughts on North America religions:
    Green is definitely Midew/Algonquin
Gold/Honey is something Iroquoian, I've seen their religious traditions referred to as broadly a "Cult of the Three Sisters" but I'm sure they have a better name
Navy Blue seems to be something of the Stomp Dancer tradition (the fact Illinois isn't Midew also seems to confirm Cahokia!!! will exist at game start in my eyes since this would be before any Illiniwek migration there), perhaps they'll just name it "Muskagean"
Yellow is obviously the indigenous plains beliefs that I have seen referred to as "Plains Way" but they might again name it something more appropriate (or just "Siouan" or some other ethnoreligious term)
    Blue-Purple is definitely Dené
    Purple-Maroon is probably Totemist proper
The amount of religions in northern Canada, like in 1 province, is kind of surprising to me? I imagine 1 is something Inuit and the rest might actually just be like OPMs where they test religious mechanics that aren't actually mapped out accurately yet. Just a hunch.
Overall I think it's looking very good, excited to see how it develops.

16:32 At 1337 Korea was still being ruled by the Goryeo dynasty, Joseon wouldn't be founded until 1392.
Also, 'Joseon' is pronounced 'Choson' or 'Joson', not 'Jo-sion'. It's why the Korean achievement in eu4 is called 'the Choson One'. When you come across these weird 'eo's or 'eu's in Korean words, just ignore the 'e' and pronounce them as 'o' and 'u'. It's a result of our stupid romanization system which makes it impossible for foreigners to read our words.

You know, if the game launch is still far away, maybe it's a good thing that they stick to `tinto talks` and `project Caesar` for now, to keep everyone but those deeply invested unaware and thus not breathing down their neck. Too many big games these days launch too soon because of too much hype-created pressure to not push it back. If the EU5 devs manages to avoid that trap and enroll the community for over a year to polish up their game without triggering media waves, THEN announce it as EU5 and release it like a month after that, so that it both meets expectations AND drops after a massive but short hype campaign, ngl that'd be pretty f-ing genius if they can pull it off....

Hi! Nice video, pretty exited for this amount of different religions! I would add about Manichaeinsm: it's not a simple mix of Judaism and Christianity, it's basically an original dualistic religion (probably, radicalized version of Sethianism as it described by Hyppolite) with its prominent mythology. It was intended to be syncretic (like the final version of all known religions) that's why it was widely adapted and popular.
I think, they added them because of Chinese Manichaeinsm, it was only banned there in the second half of 1300-х.
    Waiting for the game!

The two religions in "Yugoslavia" are probably Bogomilism (smaller pink) and Krstjani (larger lavender.)
Krstjani being the Bosnian Church which had a schism with Rome over their differences and the Bogomils being primarily Vlach refugee communities who had fled other parts of the Balkans when Bogomilism was deemed heresy and they we're expelled.

So about Jainism, one of it's core tenets is ahimsa(non violence) towards everyone. This is the reason they refuse to intentionally hurt any human, animal or insect and which is why they cannot eat non vegetarian food or food grown underground and they tend to drink boiled water and have strict rules of eating before dusk. I like how developers made so jainism cannot attack without cb because that would be kinda realistic for a religion that puts such heavy stress on not hurting anyone.

Must be. Was looking at a list of different declared heresies, but Waldensian is one of the "bigger" candidates. Probably useful for some strange achievment later: Take France and Rome and make Waldensian majority religion, something like that. :P

In the Tinto Maps about France, they said something about not portrayed Catholic heresies yet, and Waldensians were not mentioned on the Christians faith list. I also think thet if they were to add Waldensians, it would make more sense to be around Provence and Savoy during this period wouldn't it? Like what others said, it's probably Judaism, since the same color appears in Ethiopia

Presumably the seed is loaded on initial game generation but takes in enough inputs that every battle will have unique dice rolls but redoing the battle will have the same result as the inputs are the same (unless you change it last second like add a discipline advisor [eu4 analogy]) very funny.

i m not a Jain but i m indian and i know somewhat about them, since i m not a jain i cannot entirely tell what they stan for and represent. But from my learnings their main moto amd message is, all life is precious, and every living being has a right to live, and we must respect all life and not kill any. Therfore they they dont eat any form of meat, and about the things that grow underground, it is becuz when you harvest carrots or root vegetables, you end up killing the plant for it's the food. But they can eat fruits which does not kill or harm the tree that grows it. hope this information helps.

  • @DakotaTheRota
    @DakotaTheRota 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

I wonder how they are going to balance the natives of the new world because in EU4 they can get pretty annoying even within 50 years, now imagine them having 150 years. IRL a lot of the times Europeans would just settle an area enough and that forced the natives to move, often times forcefully assimilate or they (Europeans) would fight the Natives and nothing really would happen so in game that means not a lot of AE actually happened IRL. They just didn't have the population to fight back due to diseases like small pox and weren't a unified people to care enough that their neighboring tribe got wiped out or close to wiped out. A lot of the times, they even helped the Europeans to wipe out their neighbors.
And then as a player you need to be able to have the ability to fight back somehow while also not being able to unite both North and South America even before the Europeans arrive in the mid to late 1400's for basically free.
