I think this song should have ended with the beginning piano riff. It would have added such a beautiful atmosphere after a such a brutal song. It probably would have made me cry. I was already close to crying at the end of this song.

It's time to sink or swim. It means if you cling to the idols in your life. in other words anything that you put above God. Will cause you to drown. It's time to sink or swim means. What immediately came to mind for Me was struggle with addiction and just things that you are convicted are wrong but you still do them. I have a serious problem with addiction in My life.. And im not here to preach at anyone or say im better then you because im a Christian..Just that the Lord can and will help you through them..And sometimes the battles we face and the situations we dont understand are just God trying to Get our attention. We sometimes have to take that first step for Jesus before he can perform the miracles in our life..We can try and blame others all day long, but sometimes( in My case that is), its ourselves. And when you are a true believer in Chris don't, the battles don't end there, they get worse so it takes an extra amount of faith to fight them. God sends them your way to test you, to see how you will do under pressure. To see if you truly have faith or not so he can get you ready for the real trials ahead. Some self-righteous Christians in the world think they already won because they say they are Christians and everythings just dandy..No!! If you are a true believe in Christ The Devil will be on your ass night and day. Its spiritual warfare man, hes out for blood. You think everything was awesome for Jesus when He was on earth? Hell no!! The Devil was after him day and night with the Scribes and Pharasees, Devil worshippers, temptations you name it.. Thats the problem with the alot of Churches today..They think they are good. They think they are free from sin..But God knows his children..If you are a Child of God He loves you regardless of whether you attend Church.. The Church system is conformed and dead. God needs a new generation of warriors to stand up and fight agianst the enemy...Our generation is so damn asleep..We are spoon fed shit by the Devil and we wonder why we are so depressed all the time. Because thats the way the Devil wants us..Silent and dumb..Just do what your told, shut up and take these drugs.
