At 1:54 when you start getting nailed, the 260 lets you back up (he gets out of the way) and then gets in front of you as you back up, taking at lest one shot to keep you from dying. Is it just me or was that a totally amazing teammate move by them? It could have been totally accidental, but it seemed to me like the 260 was really playing like a good guy.

True Azure yea it’s a hidden gem. Same goes for the chi ri but it does more damage per shot and you can unload the shots faster. They’re very good tanks.
actually I think the swedish high tier mediums are pretty underrated, with their speed, trollish armor, and decently punchy guns, you can do a lot with them. they aren't necessarily 1st line tanks, but they are good 2nd line/flanking tanks. currently finishing up the t9 UDES and am looking forward to the t10 UDES
SuperEvilMonkee I challenge you with the Chinese tier 4 light tank. Great little gun, very fast, armory can hold up sometimes. View range isn’t a problem if you just slap on coated optics.
An underrated TD, in my opinion, is the Wolverine at T5. It can be tricky to play and definitely works better as a sniper assassin but in the right circumstances, you can assault with it.
I think the E3 might've thought the game was out of hand and just wanted to get as much damage out before you killed him instead of the 150 hp on the T-54 Edit: I paused the video and made the comment before Quicky made the same statement as me. The E3 knew his demise was all but certain!
I've been stuck in a slump not having anything interesting to grind lately. Over the past week or so you've done a few videos on the Chinese TDs... I'm a TD guy, but for some reson, never went up that line. Maybe now I'll give them a try. Merry New Years, QB.
I love the AMX 40. It plays like a tiny heavy and when properly angled and side scraping it can take insane amounts of hits. Also, The Duck draws the attention of enemies out for an easy kill. While they're distracted trying to pen my hull, the rest of my team often just plain rolls the enemy flanks up and wins. :D

Amx 30b. I love the flexibility of the insane mobility, the great dpm, great vision and sometimes even bouncy turret. Been neglecting it a bit as I've been trying to unlock more tanks
What makes it SO different is that it has THE highest penetration among all of existing vehicles in tier 1-9, massive 395mm at Tier 9. It's HEAT rounds are complete insanity vs same tier heavies.
I like the tier 3 T-46, got the Raseiniai Heroes Medal, felt like i was owning the tank, the town "Raseiniai" is my home town too so it meant a lot to me. :')

I think the St-1 is a underrated tank. A good side scraper. Also if angled the lower platen becomes hard to pen for most equivalent and lower tiers (Especially meds). You have to make sure you position urself to force the enemy to trade shots however. Cause of the dpm. Thats the key for the st-1
Deathslug! I like that one. Your videos and tech tree showcase prompted me to grind this line. I have finished grind of totally uneventful tier 7, and unlocked 8, 9, and 10 during all these holliday events. I struggled at first with Deathslug, but I think I'm starting to play it well. Please more videos on good tactical use of it!

I decided to go for the tree after being bored with my old Obj 704. I'm at T6 with full female crew and Chinese Santa as a commander (cause chinese female voice is atrocious), and i'm loving it. I will take my time and enjoy every part of it. I'll probably get at T9 in 2021 :-)

@@ReactorKFusion and also the tier 9 and 10 have great armour for a td and since most people think of a ISU-152 (weaker armour also) when they see it you can bait shots. One time I bounced 5k in a tier 10 game with the tier 9 just by exposing my upper plate
My go to tank to have fun definitely is the T1 Heavy. First heavy i've played and I absolutely enjoyed it. My one and only tank with 3 marks of excellence.
Centurion 5/. Best tier 8 side scraper. Fast, and really good turret armor. It doesn't suffer like many side scrapers that have a low-rise hull where enemies can overmatch the tracks.
I love playing in my Excelsior! I'm really shocked I don't see this tank on the battlefield more. It's got decent frontal armor (although it isn't sloped) and a gun with a high rate of fire. Great for harassing other heavies dueling it out with each other.
Hey QB you need to check out the VK 30. 01 P, and it is quite underplayed and I love it. In comparison to the Cromwell it's got the same pen, same aiming time, same depression and similar shell velocity. The advantages tho are a higher alpha of 220 compared to 135, MUCH better armour which can destroy lower and equal tiers, 10 meters more view range, 200 m more radio range and an ability to ram into lights. All at the cost of 100 dpm, Power to weight and traverse speed. When I got the final gun I got a Radley-Walters, three aces, reaper of 7 and one now almost two MoE. Try it out, plox
As a 6 year free to play player I can assure you that the game is much easier to play through. It's a lot easier to achieve things you'd have to pay for earlier. For me it doesn't matter whether or not it is even easier for those who pay because that is why they pay, right? Before those changes it was impossible to get all those amazing things that premium players always have: Lots of Credits, Amazing Crews, Good Ammo and Consumables, etc Now all of those are accessable for us as well and that's amazing because you can choose your focus and get these crazy stats you couldn't for many years. On the topic of crew training manuals: I think they're actually a good thing for the F2P (or at least, those with only a little money to spend on WoT) in training crews. Iirc, many of the videos getting players started still say to train up a skill like repair or concealment and then spend gold to reset the crew after they reach 100% to pick up perks. Rinse, repeat. WG is always going to try to push you towards more premium time (hence the 2m credit cost), but it's nice to know that a F2P can pick Sixth Sense, use a manual, then pick up another skill.
Honestly, I love the Pershing. Its satisfying to have actual armor after grinding through the T20, and on top of that the T20 feels so light. After you get the Pershing you really feel heavier in it, like you’ve got more power behind you, and even though the gun does the same damage the extra penetration makes it easier to use confidently
Im playing through the t20 right now and i enjoy it mostly except for it feels pretty chunky for being so lightly armored and everytime i get shot i either lose my commander or get a damaged ammo rack

I enjoyed 704 more, and it hasnt changed. Back in the days you needed 301.000 exp to get to 268. But playing it was a pleasure - unlike 290.000 exp horrible single shot Foch grind.
@@Paciat Don't think so, i have 268 4 (free to play player) and even that tank is pain vs gold ammo. Game is pretty much broken, it used to be very very good. Now, not sure about that. Grille or 268 4 who cares, press 2 and shoot. I can't image 704 in tier 10 vs tier 11 tanks (279 etc).
Hi Folks! Really underrated tank(and tech tree) is the UDES 14 5. This medium is an all-rounder I think. It can sidescrape well and do some misterious bounces. Both gun is excellent for the job is made for. The smaller calibre is like a fast shooter.( keep tracked everyone also annoy every enemy tank from the bushes with a SWEDISH gun depression. On the other hand the higher calibre is a damage dealer best with good penetration-217(and also premium heat penetration about 250) True powerhouse in any cases, so to say: the camo and the viewrange works really well(this can be a spotter too) The mobility is truly the best from the mediums with enough Top Speed Limit and good power to weith ratio. It is just agile and flexible with the potential to carry a game. I cannot wait to see more from this techtree!

Great vid QB :) I'm on that line myself and all ready researched this tank, but need more credits to buy it :( Didn't buy too many large boxes for christmas and also i purchased some other tanks that i wanted first. This one will be in my garage some day near the furture ;)
I played around 30 battles in one night, about 8 of them were on Sigrfried LIne, assault. In 6 of them I was assaulting and i get spawned in the same spot... And in the same night I got 2 times Emperor's Border, although I have it on "no play map" selected...
My favorite and not so flexible tank is the Churchill GC, not even joking either. Sure, it's slow as anything, paper thin armor (can bounce possibly rushed shots at ridiculous angles), small gun arc, etc. I just love catching people by surprise when I get a far above average roll of over 300 dmg, praying I can go back into hiding, and do it again. Plus it's got that gun that you get on the AT15??? Yeah it definitely comes as a surprise. And, it's a good meme lol I always think I give people a chuckle when I go in chat, "I'll handle to push, I'm the Game Carrier."

1:47 How is that special? It happens for the Charioteer, and more than just that one. Charioteer gun is tier 10 on a tier 8, for example. In fact, all tier 8 TDs get a tier 9 or tier 10 gun. Do you mean something different than ut sounds?
Fair do but even with that qualification, the tier 9 Chinese is not the only TD that gets a gun comparable to a tier 10 tank destroyer. Waffentrager auf Pz IV has comparable characteristics, as does the Jagdtiger, Object 263, Object 704, Strv 103-0, T30, and T95. It's true that these don't average over 300 pen the way that several tier 10 TD guns do, but the Strv 103-0 is well within that range and an average of 270+ (which is most of the TDs I just listed) is more than sufficient to penetrate tanks at tier 10 with their ordinary AP. I understand that the WZ-111G FT has a really nifty gun but it's the rule rather than the exception among its tier 9 peers.
@@Stubbari The large-bore tier 10 TDs have 300 - 400. The two American TDs, the narrow-arc fixed-gun German, Chinese, and Russians. Grille 15 is a tier 9 TD gun by your measurement, as is the Badger, the 268 v4, and the Strv 103B which has a higher floor but a lower ceiling (the Stage II is an anomaly since it doesn't have extremely high-pen premium ammo, but high-pen HE instead). It sort of seems like "tier 10 TD gun" means "750-damage tier 10 TD gun" the way it's used by QB and the way you're using it here.

nobody really talks about VK 30.01 D. its a lovely tank, solid scout/support medium at tier 6. The top gun has good RoF although the aim time is a bit slow. It got the speed of light tanks that enable me to go to scouting position. And its my first tank that i manage to 3 mark.

WZ120 is a good tank! I play it with the 100mm gun and it works. The top gun is so limiting its unplayable. Average dmg I do is 2.5k which is not so bad for this tank
I want to say two tanks, first is M4a1 Rev. It has been power creeped a lot its slow,huge, has avarage dpm and pen. But that alpha and shell velo surely works. Its not the best t8 med but its awesome imo. And ıs-7. Went back and played my first t10 for 20 battles or so and realized it wasnt as bad as thought it was, got the second mark, and currently think its actually better than 277 due to hp and more armour

In earlier videos QB noticed 113G FT is statistically 10 times as rare as the next rare tree tier X. IMO it thould get a mobility and camo buff.

Strv 74. Feels manuverable and the depression is nice. I like its last gun too.

I really enjoy my WZ-113G FT, such a powerhouse in close combat situations.
Absolutely, it also has decent enough turning speed to engage flankers if you're attentive enough.
The other advantage that the Chinese TD line has is the ability to scout for itself with max view range

The advantages tho are a higher alpha of 220 compared to 135, MUCH better armour which can destroy lower and equal tiers, 10 meters more view range, 200 m more radio range and an ability to ram into lights.
All at the cost of 100 dpm, Power to weight and traverse speed. When I got the final gun I got a Radley-Walters, three aces, reaper of 7 and one now almost two MoE. Try it out, plox
Yea I had the vk 30 01 p before it was nerfed (2 years ago) and i loved it very much just because that gun felt so OP at tier 6.
As a 6 year free to play player I can assure you that the game is much easier to play through. It's a lot easier to achieve things you'd have to pay for earlier.
For me it doesn't matter whether or not it is even easier for those who pay because that is why they pay, right? Before those changes it was impossible to get all those amazing things that premium players always have: Lots of Credits, Amazing Crews, Good Ammo and Consumables, etc
Now all of those are accessable for us as well and that's amazing because you can choose your focus and get these crazy stats you couldn't for many years.

On the topic of crew training manuals: I think they're actually a good thing for the F2P (or at least, those with only a little money to spend on WoT) in training crews. Iirc, many of the videos getting players started still say to train up a skill like repair or concealment and then spend gold to reset the crew after they reach 100% to pick up perks. Rinse, repeat.
WG is always going to try to push you towards more premium time (hence the 2m credit cost), but it's nice to know that a F2P can pick Sixth Sense, use a manual, then pick up another skill.
Honestly, I love the Pershing. Its satisfying to have actual armor after grinding through the T20, and on top of that the T20 feels so light. After you get the Pershing you really feel heavier in it, like you’ve got more power behind you, and even though the gun does the same damage the extra penetration makes it easier to use confidently
Im playing through the t20 right now and i enjoy it mostly except for it feels pretty chunky for being so lightly armored and everytime i get shot i either lose my commander or get a damaged ammo rack

ISU 152 - best tank back days, my favorite.
I enjoyed 704 more, and it hasnt changed. Back in the days you needed 301.000 exp to get to 268. But playing it was a pleasure - unlike 290.000 exp horrible single shot Foch grind.
@@Paciat Don't think so, i have 268 4 (free to play player) and even that tank is pain vs gold ammo. Game is pretty much broken, it used to be very very good. Now, not sure about that. Grille or 268 4 who cares, press 2 and shoot.
I can't image 704 in tier 10 vs tier 11 tanks (279 etc).

Really underrated tank(and tech tree)
is the UDES 14 5. This medium is an all-rounder I think. It can sidescrape well and do some misterious bounces. Both gun is excellent for the job is made for. The smaller calibre is like a fast shooter.( keep tracked everyone also annoy every enemy tank from the bushes with a SWEDISH gun depression.
On the other hand the higher calibre is a damage dealer best with good penetration-217(and also premium heat penetration about 250)
True powerhouse in any cases, so to say: the camo and the viewrange works really well(this can be a spotter too)
The mobility is truly the best from the mediums with enough Top Speed Limit and good power to weith ratio.
It is just agile and flexible with the potential to carry a game.
I cannot wait to see more from this techtree!

Great vid QB :) I'm on that line myself and all ready researched this tank, but need more credits to buy it :( Didn't buy too many large boxes for christmas and also i purchased some other tanks that i wanted first. This one will be in my garage some day near the furture ;)
I played around 30 battles in one night, about 8 of them were on Sigrfried LIne, assault. In 6 of them I was assaulting and i get spawned in the same spot... And in the same night I got 2 times Emperor's Border, although I have it on "no play map" selected...
My favorite and not so flexible tank is the Churchill GC, not even joking either. Sure, it's slow as anything, paper thin armor (can bounce possibly rushed shots at ridiculous angles), small gun arc, etc.
I just love catching people by surprise when I get a far above average roll of over 300 dmg, praying I can go back into hiding, and do it again. Plus it's got that gun that you get on the AT15??? Yeah it definitely comes as a surprise. And, it's a good meme lol I always think I give people a chuckle when I go in chat, "I'll handle to push, I'm the Game Carrier."

When he showed his first game after the second game, I though that he was trolling us for a few minutes and just repeating the second game a second time, but then it was different, so yeah QB, it does look like Deja Vu
1:47 How is that special? It happens for the Charioteer, and more than just that one. Charioteer gun is tier 10 on a tier 8, for example. In fact, all tier 8 TDs get a tier 9 or tier 10 gun. Do you mean something different than ut sounds?
Fair do but even with that qualification, the tier 9 Chinese is not the only TD that gets a gun comparable to a tier 10 tank destroyer. Waffentrager auf Pz IV has comparable characteristics, as does the Jagdtiger, Object 263, Object 704, Strv 103-0, T30, and T95. It's true that these don't average over 300 pen the way that several tier 10 TD guns do, but the Strv 103-0 is well within that range and an average of 270+ (which is most of the TDs I just listed) is more than sufficient to penetrate tanks at tier 10 with their ordinary AP. I understand that the WZ-111G FT has a really nifty gun but it's the rule rather than the exception among its tier 9 peers.
@@Stubbari The large-bore tier 10 TDs have 300 - 400. The two American TDs, the narrow-arc fixed-gun German, Chinese, and Russians. Grille 15 is a tier 9 TD gun by your measurement, as is the Badger, the 268 v4, and the Strv 103B which has a higher floor but a lower ceiling (the Stage II is an anomaly since it doesn't have extremely high-pen premium ammo, but high-pen HE instead). It sort of seems like "tier 10 TD gun" means "750-damage tier 10 TD gun" the way it's used by QB and the way you're using it here.

@@Stubbari OK, thanks for clarifying. Since QB was calling the WZ exceptional in getting a t10 TD gun without specifying that he was talking about a particular kind, I didn't get what he was trying to say, especially as I looked at t9 TDs carrying guns with comparable pen to t10 TDs.
My fav is the T28 Proto, 5 crew skills, with a nice 400 alpha every 8.7 sec, and nice bouncey mantle...... 😎

nobody really talks about VK 30.01 D. its a lovely tank, solid scout/support medium at tier 6. The top gun has good RoF although the aim time is a bit slow. It got the speed of light tanks that enable me to go to scouting position. And its my first tank that i manage to 3 mark.

WZ120 is a good tank! I play it with the 100mm gun and it works. The top gun is so limiting its unplayable. Average dmg I do is 2.5k which is not so bad for this tank
I want to say two tanks, first is M4a1 Rev. It has been power creeped a lot its slow,huge, has avarage dpm and pen. But that alpha and shell velo surely works. Its not the best t8 med but its awesome imo. And ıs-7. Went back and played my first t10 for 20 battles or so and realized it wasnt as bad as thought it was, got the second mark, and currently think its actually better than 277 due to hp and more armour
KV-3 is very underratted in my opinion, love playing mine
